Officer Joe Barnhouse responded to East High Street for a verbal domestic dispute. He separated the parties and issued one citation.

Officer Barnhouse assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on West US Hwy 60/63.

Sgt. David Hocking investigated a car vs deer accident near MoDoT.

Officer Barnhouse responded to East Cherry for a verbal disturbance.

Officer Barnhouse took a report of harassment. 

June 5

Officer Jim Hedlesten assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on US Hwy 60/63.

June 6

Officer Barnhouse arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.

June 7

Officer Ryan McGinnis investigated a non-injury car versus deer accident at Snappy Mart.

Officer McGinnis assisted EMS with a medical call on East Main Street.

Officer Corey Clark responded to Park Street for a non-injury hit and run vehicle accident. His investigation involved a search of the area and locating a vehicle matching the suspected vehicle description and also having white paint transfer and damage on the passenger side of the vehicle. During an interview, the owner of the suspect vehicle admitted to driving the vehicle in the area but blacked out and did not recall being in an accident and also stated they did not have insurance on the vehicle. The owner/victim verbally stated they did not want to pursue charges.

June 8

Chief West Ellison spoke to an individual regarding an assault on a family member.

Officer Clark conducted a requested wellbeing check on Belshe Ave.

Lt. Michael Zeller conducted a requested wellbeing check on East Main St.

Officer McGinnis took a report of stolen property on North Grand St. 

June 9

Officer McGinnis responded to a non-injury vehicle accident on West Main Street.

Chief Ellison conducted a requested wellbeing check on East Sixth St.

June 10

Officer McGinnis assisted EMS with a medical call on State Route 76.

 

For the week officers: Officers assisted with eight animal calls, conducted eight area checks, assisted ten motorists, assisted two outside departments, completed one escort, assisted with four lost and found property calls, completed two miscellaneous administration tasks, investigated three suspicious circumstances calls, spoke to fourteen individuals requesting or giving information, returned requested contact with five individuals, spoke with five individuals in the police office, and issues twenty-four traffic warnings.
