Chief Ellison investigated a report of a burglary and found no evidence of a crime.

Four officers responded to a child custody dispute. They helped settle the matter and provided judicial remedies for both parties.

Officer Gates spoke to an individual reporting a previous domestic altercation.
Officers assisted with traffic control for the Christmas parade.

Officer Hedlesten responded to a residential alarm and spoke to the homeowner who reported a technical issue with the alarm.

For the week: Officers received five animal calls, assisted with three lost or stolen property claims, investigated five calls of suspicious activity, assisted eleven individuals with information, assisted four people in the department lobby, and issued fifteen traffic warnings.
