August 7
Chief Deputy Ryan Boyle responded to the intersection of E. 5th Street and N. Walnut Street in reference to property damage. An investigation determined a diesel truck ran over a city street sign while attempting to make a turn onto N. Walnut from E. 5th Street. The case remains open pending further investigation.
Officer Joe Barnhouse took a report of interference with child custody. Charges will be sent to the Howell County Prosecutors office.
Deputy Chief Boyle and Officer Barnhouse investigated a non-injury vehicle accident.
Officer Barnhouse took a report of stolen property. The Incident is still currently under investigation.

Cpl. Hocking conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle located on South Harris St. Near Snappy Mart. A search of the driver found a single used syringe that field-tested positive for methamphetamines.
Officer Barnhouse responded to an animal complaint. The animal control officer will follow up.
Officer Gates received a report of an aggressive animal.
Officer Barnhouse assisted a motorist at the north junction.
Officers Barnhouse and Gates conducted a requested wellbeing check.

Cpl. Hocking, Officer McGinnis, Officer Barnhouse and Officer Clark responded to a possible domestic at Snappy Mart. They found no domestic took place, but the business requested the individual trespassed from the property.
