Officer Ryan McGinnis conducted security checks of local businesses.

Officer Jim Hedlesten responded to Love’s Travel Stop for a possible interference with child custody exchange. He spoke with estranged parents fighting over parking positions and threatening not to complete the exchange. 

Deputy Chief Ryan Boyle and Officer Hedlesten investigated a private property accident on Hill Street.

Officer Hedlesten conducted a requested wellbeing check on East Sixth Street.

Officers responded to a verbal disturbance on East Main Street. 

Officer Clark secured the golf course. 

Deputy Chief Boyle spoke with an individual regarding a sexual offense.

Officer Joe Barnhouse investigated a report of suspicious circumstances on East High St.

Officers spoke to nine individuals requesting information or assistance and issued three traffic warnings.

March 1

Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses.

Cpl. Hocking and Officer Clark had responded to a residence on Belshe Ave. in reference to a verbal dispute. Investigation determined a verbal argument only took place and both parties separated with one willingly leaving the residence. 

Officer Clark arrested an individual for assaulting another. Charges will be filed.

Officer Clark secured the golf course.

Officer Hedlesten responded to South Harris Street for a physical domestic incident. Both parties separated. 

Cpl. Hocking responded to Belshe Ave for a physical domestic incident. Both parties separated. 

Officer Barnhouse investigated a report of suspicious circumstances on North Center St. 

Officers spoke to one individual requesting information and issued three traffic warnings. 

March 2

Officer McGinnis conducted security checks of local businesses.

Officer Clark arrested the driver of a traffic stop for an outstanding Shannon County warrant.

Officers issued three traffic warnings.

Officer McGinnis conducted security checks of local businesses.

Officers McGinnis and Clark responded to a domestic incident on Lance Ln. Charges will be sought.

Officer Turnbull conducted a security check on an abandoned vehicle. 

Officer Clark assisted a motorist at the south highway junction.

Sgt. Zeller investigated a report of a burglary on East Valley Street.

Sgt. Zeller spoke with subjects involved in reported suspicious activity. 

Officers spoke to six individuals requesting information or assistance and issued four traffic warnings.

March 4

Officer McGinnis conducted security checks of local businesses.

Deputy Chief Boyle spoke to an individual reporting a sexual assault. This case will be open pending further investigation.  

Sgt. Zeller investigated a non-injury auto accident on North Ash Street.

Officers spoke to ten individuals requesting information or assistance and issued one traffic warning.

March 5

Officer McGinnis took a report of harassment. 

Officer McGinnis removed debris from the roadway on several city streets. 

Sgt. Zeller took a report of peace disturbance on East Main St. 

Deputy Chief Boyle assisted a motorist on East Main St. 

Officers spoke to three individuals requesting information or assistance and issued three traffic warnings.
