April 7
Officer Brent Keepes took a report of identity theft.
Officer Ivie Powell responded to Preacher Roe Blvd for a report of theft of copper wire. He located the suspect and took them into custody. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor.
Officer Nathaniel Siegrist took a report of a protection order violation. A probable cause statement will be completed and forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officer Keepes took a report of a stolen TV. An investigation will be conducted.
April 8
Officer Powell issued a summons to an individual found trespassing on Ransom Road.
Cpl. Micah McKemie investigated a stealing incident on Preacher Roe Blvd. The case will be closed due to insufficient evidence.
Officer Siegrist responded to Aid Ave for a report of a suicidal individual. They transported the individual to the hospital for mental evaluation.
Officer Keepes responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers took a juvenile and adult into custody.
April 9
Officer Powell responded to a request for a wellbeing check of an individual that walked away from a building. Officers later received a report of the same individual at Southern Hills Shopping Center for a possible overdose. They had the subject transported to the hospital for treatment.
Officer Keepes investigated a possible physical altercation in the area of Independence Drive and Porter Wagoner Boulevard. Investigation led to an individual taken into custody for driving while intoxicated. Charges will be being sought.
April 10
Officer Powell responded to County Road 1710 for a drug overdose. Investigation found a physical altercation occurred between the couple living together but no one wanted to pursue charges. EMS transported one individual to Ozark Medical Center for treatment. This matter will be closed.
Officer Powell conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for an active Lawrence County warrant.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office requested that digital forensic extractions completed on two electronic devices as part of an on-going investigation within their jurisdiction. They completed the processes, and the devices and forensic reports will be provided to the case agent.
The Mountain Grove Police Department requested a digital forensic extraction conducted on a digital device concerning an ongoing investigation within their jurisdiction. They completed the process, and the device and forensic report will be provided to the case agent.
Sgt. Colter Reid responded to 7th Street in reference to a report of an assault. He took a subject into custody and placed them on a 24-hour hold for assault. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.
Officer Dobbs responded to 6th Street for a report of stealing through a possible online scam.
Officer Robert Shell responded to Preacher Roe Blvd for a theft. He arrested one subject for the offense.
Officer Dobbs arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.
Officer Shell responded to Bartley for a report of property damage to a vehicle.
Officer Meyer conducted a traffic stop and found the driver in possession of item they were not legally old enough to possess. This case will be referred to the West Plains Municipal Prosecutor's Office for review.
April 11
Officer Austin Deshazo took a report of stealing. This case is under investigation.
Officers made arrests for two driving-while-intoxicated drivers.

April 13
Officer Chris Barrett responded to Allen Street for a report of a suicidal subject. Investigation found an individual with an altered mental status. They transported the individual to Ozarks Healthcare for a 96-hour mental evaluation.
