March 24

Officer Austin Deshazo responded to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office to take a report of an assault occurring in West Plains, The report will be forwarded to the West Plains Municipal Courts for review. 

Officer DeShazo responded to the area of Missouri Avenue for a report of an individual threatening to assault others. They located the individual and placed them on a 12-hour protective custody hold. 

Officer Jerry Mingus took a report of child abuse. This case will be open pending further investigation. Officer Brent Keepes responded to a residence on Myrtle Street for a verbal domestic disturbance. He issued citations to two subjects for peace disturbance. 

March 25

The Howell County Sheriff's Office requested a digital forensic extraction conducted on a cellular device concerning an ongoing investigation within their jurisdiction. Officers completed the process, and the device and forensic report will be provided to the case agent. 

Officer Keepes took a report of a stolen bicycle from Myrtle Street.

Officer Nathaniel Siegrist responded to North Terra Golf Course in reference to property damage. This case will be open pending further investigation. 

March 27

Officer Ivie Powell took a report of a missing adult person.

Officer Robert Shell responded to Preacher Roe Blvd., for a report of trespassing. He arrested the individual on an outstanding warrant.

March 28

Officer DeShazo responded to Sesson Street for a report of stealing. The report will be considered open pending further investigation. 

Officer Powell arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.

Officer Barrett took a report of a runaway juvenile. Officers later located the juvenile and transported them to the Howell County Juvenile Office. 

Officer Dobbs took a report of a stolen vehicle. Officers later located the vehicle and recovered it with assistance from Howell County Sheriff’s Office. The case will be under further investigation.

March 29

Officer Kerley responded to Davidson Street in regards to a domestic disturbance. Investigation found no assault took place. No charges will be pursued. 

Officer Barrett responded to Jackson Street for a report of an out-of-control juvenile. They transported the juvenile to Ozarks Health Care for a mental evaluation. 

While on routine patrol, Officer Shell conducted a safety check on an individual walking beside the road. He later arrested the individual and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.

Officer Daiman Meyer arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.

March 30

Officer Meyer discovered an individual trespassing on Missouri Avenue. This case will be referred to the West Plains Municipal Prosecutor's Office for review.  

Officer Barrett responded to Paula Drive regarding two dogs running loose. They located the owner of the dogs and issued citations. 

Officer DeShazo responded to Cole Street for a report of a verbal domestic. The case will be considered closed.
