February 10
Officer Jesse Martin took a report of possible stolen firearms.
The Southwest MO Cyber Crimes Task Force received a CyberTip Report from the National Center of Missing & Exploited Children, indicating that Snap, Inc. discovered files of suspected child pornography being distributed on their platform by one of their users. The suspect geo-locates to a residence in Howell County.
Animal Control Officer Brad Jones received a report of a dog bite on Grace Avenue. An investigation found the victim received injuries that required medical treatment. Officers located the dog and transported it to the animal control office for observation.
Sgt. Brandon Romans arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.
Officer Nathaniel Siegrist responded to the area of Summers for a report of a runaway juvenile. They located the juvenile and released them to the guardian. A juvenile referral will be completed and forwarded to the juvenile office.
February 11
Officer Martin took a report of a possible stolen wedding ring.
Officer Martin responded to Carte Square for an out-of-control juvenile. They de-escalated the situation and the juvenile calmed down.
D & S Cycle reported to Det. Jeremy Pounders two utility vehicles stolen from outside the business.
While on patrol at the intersection of Joann and Gleghorn, Officer Conner Burnes noticed vandalism on the stop sign and took measures for the replacement of the sign.
Officer Siegrist took a report of a violation of a child protection order. A probable cause statement will be completed and forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutors Office.
February 12
Officer Martin took a report of theft.
Cpl. Trent Kinder took a report of stealing from Walnut St. The incident will be under investigation.
The Southwest MO Cyber Crimes Task Force, HSI-Springfield, and the Bolivar Police Department executed a residential search warrant on Division Drive in Bolivar. The incident remains under investigation.
Officer Dobbs responded to Main Street for a report of a burglary. Allegedly a suspect broke into a residence and stole items from inside. This case will be open for further investigation.
February 13
The Southwest MO Cyber Crimes Task Force (SMCCTF) received a request from the Department of Homeland Security Cyber Crimes Center (C3) Child Exploitation Investigations Unit (CEIU), concerning information from INTERPOL Manchester, identifying a suspect residing in Cabool. The suspect is identified in a Child Exploitation investigation in the United Kingdom. Officers interviewed the suspect, and information will be submitted back to C3.
Officer Dobbs responded to Saint Louis Street for a report of property damage. This case will be open for further investigation.
February 14
The Beaver Dam WI Police Department requested assistance with an Amber Alert location tip at a hotel in West Plains. Det. Joe Neuschwander investigated and discovered the tip unfounded.
Sgt. Romans conducted a requested wellbeing check on Lambe Avenue and the person declined medical assistance. The matter will be forwarded to the adult abuse office. 
Officer Shell to E Main St for a report of a disturbance.
Officers responded to the area of N. College for a report of a possible domestic violence incident. Officers took reports for four separate incidents and will be forwarding each case to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office for review. 
Sgt. Joshua Wichowski responded to a residence on Grace Avenue for a report of a domestic disturbance involving an intoxicated subject. Further investigation determined an assault causing injury took place and officers arrested the suspect.
February 15
Officer Kerley arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.
February 16
Officer Chris Barrett took a report of a court order violation. 
Officer Shell responded to Ridgewood for a report of a juvenile problem. They transported the juvenile to OZH for a mental health crisis. 
Officer Siegrist responded to Lanton Road for a report of an individual knocking on the back door of a residence. An investigation found an assault took place. None of the parties involved wished to pursue charges.
