Officer Austin Deshazo arrested one on an outstanding warrant.
Sgt. Brandon Romans received a report of lost or stolen property. Due to lack of information the case will be closed.
Cpl. Brandon Stephens responded to Ozarks Healthcare Emergency Room for a report of sexual abuse involving a juvenile. An investigation has been started and will be forwarded to the detective division. The investigation will be forwarded to the detective division.
Officer Kerley responded to East Maple Ave for a stolen motor vehicle. Officers later recovered the vehicle. They arrested the driver transported them to West Plains city jail. Charges will be filed.

Officer Shell responded to Summers Street for a disturbance.
Officer Jacob Beadell responded to Hickory Street for a report of property damage. Investigation found a vandalized truck. He did not locate a witness or any camera footage. This case will be considered inactive pending further information.
August 13
Officer Dobbs arrested one on an outstanding warrant.
Officer Deshazo arrested one on an outstanding warrant.
Officer Dobbs responded to 4th Street for a report of stealing. They located the suspect and placed them under arrest. A probable case statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutors.
Officer Kerley arrested one on an outstanding warrant.
August 14
Officer Chris Barrett spoke to an individual reporting harassment.

August 15
Cpl. Stephens responded to Lanton Road for a report of a domestic disturbance. He issued one individual a citation.
Officer Barrett spoke with the owner of a business on Gibson Avenue about a burglary. The owner chose not to pursue charges.
Officer Dobbs responded to 3rd Street for a report of burglary. They located the suspect and placed them under arrest. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutors Office.
Officer Nathaniel Siegrist spoke to an individual reporting identity theft. The incident will be referred to the Investigations Division for further investigation.
Officer Brent Keepes responded to a call regarding an out-of-control juvenile at a residence on Washington Avenue. Interviews found that a verbal altercation took place with threats of violence. Charges will be sought.
Officer Siegrist responded to West Broadway in reference to an assault. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Juvenile Division.
Officer Daiman Meyer responded to Lanton Road for a report of a court order violation. This case will be referred to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office for review.
August 16
Officer Beadell responded to McFarland Avenue for a report of stealing. After interviewing both the victims and suspects, they returned the property to the victims. The victims did not wish to pursue any charges. This case will be considered closed.
Officer Ivie Powell spoke to an individual reporting a lost or stolen EBT card.
Officer Barrett spoke to an individual reporting medication removed from their possession. They did not wish to pursue charges.
Cpl. Stephens arrested one on an outstanding warrant.
Officer Siegrist conducted a requested well being check.
Officer Siegrist took a report of property damage to jail property. A probable cause statement will be completed and forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.
Cpl. Micah McKemie attempted to arrest one on an outstanding warrant. The individual fled on foot. Charges will be sought.
August 17
Officer Barrett responded to East Third Street for a report of property damage.
Officer Barrett responded to a business on Imperial for a domestic disturbance. He found a couple had a verbal argument.
Cpl. Stephens arrested two individuals on an outstanding warrants.
Officer Gill responded to Washington Avenue for a report of a domestic disturbance. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office.
Officer Siegrist received a report from Hynes St for a 911 hang up call.
Officer Siegrist responded to West First Street in reference to a possible suicidal individual. Investigation found a verbal domestic dispute occurred and the parties agreed to separate.
August 18
Officer Deshazo spoke to individuals regarding a juvenile issue. He documented the incident as a misunderstanding between the parties.
Officer Kerley responded to a disturbance on Porter Wagoner Blvd. Investigation found an intoxicated individual yelling and cursing at officers. They arrested the individual and transported them to West Plains Jail.
