January 12
Officer Ivie Powell conducted a requested wellbeing check and found an individual having a mental health crisis. They transported them for a 96-hour hold.
Officer Tyler Gill arrested an individual at the Howell County Courthouse with an active warrant.
Officer Caleb Kerley investigated two separate reports of theft on Kentucky Ave. His investigation found a subject took items from the businesses without paying for them.
Officer Conner Burnes responded to a report involving a juvenile in possession of nicotine products. He seized a vape device as evidence, and the case will be referred to the Juvenile Office for review.
Cpl. Micah McKemie assisted Children’s Division with a child abuse investigation. They found no evidence to support the claim.
January 13
Officer Dawson Beavers responded to Davis Street in reference to a report of an out-of-control patient. Upon arrival officers witnessed a subject damage a window by striking it with a glass plate. They transported the subject to the hospital to receive a mental evaluation and medical treatment. This case is closed, as the victim declined to cooperate with prosecution.
Officer Burnes responded to a report involving a juvenile in possession of nicotine products. He seized a vape device as evidence, and the case will be referred to the Juvenile Office for review.
Officer Shell responded to Porter Wagoner Blvd for a call about a possible auto theft. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
January 14
Cpl. Brandon Stephens arrested an individual for driving while under the influence of intoxicants.
Officer Daiman Meyer arrested an individual for driving while their license is revoked or suspended.
Officer Nathaniel Siegrist responded to Lanton Road for a disturbance.
Officer Powell arrested an individual for driving while their license is revoked or suspended.
Officer Jesse Martin took a report of a possible theft.
January 15
Officer Daiman Meyer arrested an individual for driving while their license is revoked or suspended.
Officer Siegrist responded to Independence Drive in reference to an individual not in their right state of mind. They transported the individual to Ozarks Healthcare for a 96-hour mental health evaluation.
While conducting a traffic stop on Webster, Officer Powell arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.
Officer Powell conducted a warrant arrest on North Howell Ave.
Officer Vernon responded to Jackson to serve a warrant out of the City of West Plains.
Officer Vernon responded to Court Square for a report of a vehicle being damaged by another vehicle. The report is under investigation.
Officer Meyer arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant on Gibson St.
Officers received a call from Lanton Rd. for a report of a woman stating that her child’s father struck her in the face at Walmart parking lot and took her vehicle. They located the vehicle a short time later and returned it to the owner. Probable Cause statement will be forwarded to Howell County Prosecuting attorney's office seeking charges.
January 16

Officers responded to N College of a report of a mailbox being struck by a vehicle.
Officer Tombley investigated a report of a previously occurring assault. No charges will be filed due to the victim’s refusal to cooperate.
January 18
Cpl. Stephens arrested an individual on Lanton Road for an outstanding warrant.
Officer Gill spoke with individuals reporting a theft. He contacted all parties and returned the items to the owners.
Cpl. McKemie investigated a physical domestic altercation on Holiday Lane. Officers arrested the suspect and charges will be pending.
Officer Vernon arrested an individual for driving while their license is revoked or suspended.
