Officer Matthew Combs assisted an individual with posting bond on an outstanding warrant.

June 28

Cpl. Kylie McGee spoke with the owners of a dog left in a vehicle about the dangers of possible harm to the animal.

Cpl. McGee assisted with communications to a plane wishing to land and get fuel.

Cpl. McGee conducted a wellbeing check on individuals attempting to push a vehicle.

June 29

Asst. Chief Trenton Roberts assisted an individual with a fireworks permit and found they had an active outstanding warrant and assisted them with posting bond. 

Officer Jacob Brixey responded to a peace disturbance complaint of one neighbor banging on the walls of another. 

June 30

Officer Brixey responded to the hospital after a patient left against medical orders with an IV still in their arm. He found the individual at the bank who later complained of chest pain, which was their reason for the visit to the hospital. EMS transported them back to the hospital.

Chief Stetson Schwien took a report of a one vehicle non-injury accident.

Chief Schwien spoke with an individual regarding an ongoing trespassing complaint. 

July 1

Officer Brixey called the street department to report a tree across the roadway.

Officers Combs and Barnes assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Office with securing a trailer.

Officer Brixey responded to a verbal disturbance. He trespassed the individual from the property.

July 2

Officer Barnes conducted a wellbeing check on an individual sitting in a vehicle for hours.

Officer Barnes conducted a requested wellbeing check on an individual who left a 96-hour hold early.

July 3

Officer Barnes spoke with an individual with trespassing concerns. 

Officer Barnes assisted Clay County Children’s Division with their investigation.

Officer Barnes investigated a report of a hit and run accident and found no evidence an accident took place.

Officer Comes responded to a family disturbance. He advised them to remain separated from each other.

July 4

Officer Blaise Dudding assisted EMS with a medical call.

July 5

Officer Brixey investigated a report of two young boys attempting to break into a residence. 

Officer Brixey took a report of a possible sex offense. 

July 6

Officer Dudding investigated a non-injury property damage accident.

Officer Brixey assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic altercation. 

Officer Brixey assisted Missouri State Highway Patrol with a domestic altercation. He advised them about the 12-hour rule.

Officer Brixey spoke with an individual in Las Vegas who owns property locally. A neighbor informed the owner of a theft. 

July 8

Chief Schwien assisted EMS with a medical call. 

Chief Schwien and Officer Barnes responded to a call from parents reporting their juvenile child out of control and threatened to obtain a firearm. A report will be forwarded to the juvenile office.

Texas County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance with detaining an individual. Officer Barnes detained the subject and transferred custody to Texas County.

Sgt. Griffin assisted EMS with an intoxicated individual.

 

For the week officers: investigated seven nuisance ordinance violations, four suspicious circumstances, two abandoned vehicles, completed nine miscellaneous administration duties, spoke with twelve individuals requesting information, and issues twenty-six traffic warnings.
