January 9

Officer Matthew Combs responded to a bank alarm. He found the building secure and notified the keyholder.

Officer Combs conducted a security check on an individual at a business after hours.

Officer Koleman McDaniel investigated a two vehicle non-injury accident.

Officer McDaniel spoke to a parent regarding custody issues of their children. He advised the parent of judicial remedies. 

Sgt. Nathan Griffin took a report of a minor vehicle accident.

January 10

Officer Dylan Cook assisted Missouri State Highway Patrol with a subject posting bond on an outstanding warrant.

January 11

Officer Kris Reinholdt advised individuals in a vehicle to turn their music down.

Cpl. Kylie McGee checked the lights at N. Elm and Highway 60 after a report they were not working. She found the lights working properly.

Cpl. McGee conducted a wellbeing check on a juvenile attempting to see a bike in front of Los Amigos. She advised the juvenile to go home. Employees of Los Amigos reported the trespassed the juvenile previously as they were stealing tip money left on tables. 

Officer Reinholdt spoke to individuals playing music too loud. 

January 12

Chief Stetson Schwien investigated a violation of a court order of protection. He collected video evidence of the violation.

Asst. Chief Trenton Roberts responded to E. Fourth St. for a report of an assault. He will issue a summons to the subject.

 Asst. Chief Roberts responded to Belmont St. for a verbal domestic disturbance. He separated both parties. 

January 14

Officer Combs spoke with an individual regarding a scam phone call. 

Officer Combs responded to a wellbeing request for someone yelling. He found an individual had fallen down the stairs and yelled profanity during the fall.

January 15

Officer Combs responded to a fire alarm. He spoke with an employee who reported a false alarm.

 

For the week, officers: followed up on three cases, assisted one individual with information, checked on one abandoned vehicle, and issued three traffic warnings.
