September 12

Asst. Chief Stetson Schwien responded to a commercial alarm. Once the keyholder arrived, he cleared the building. 

Asst. Chief Schwien investigated a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. 

Asst. Chief Schwien received a call of a verbal argument. After speaking to both parties, they agreed to separate.

Asst. Chief Schwien investigated a two-vehicle accident with minor injuries. 

Chief James Perkins responded to Lazy C’s for a disturbance. He located the individual involved accused of inappropriate behavior and advised them they were trespassed from the business.

Chief Perkins investigated a non-injury vehicle accident.

September 13

Asst. Chief Schwien conducted a wellbeing check on an individual walking roadside along Highway 60. 

Asst. Chief Schwien took a report of property damage.

Asst. Chief Schwien received a report of suspicious circumstances. He spoke with all parties involved and helped resolve the issue.

Officers spoke to two individuals requesting information or assistance. 

September 14

Cpl. Kylie McGee stood by for a custody exchange. 

September 15

Cpl. McGee conducted a safety check on two juveniles reportedly kicked out of their home.

Officer Megan Barnes conducted a requested building check of a residential home.

Officer Barnes responded to a medical call and arrived before EMS. The individual stated they “had a bad trip” and wanted to go to the hospital. Officer Barnes removed a bag of mushrooms from the motel room of the individual.

Officer Koleman McDaniel investigated a two vehicle non-injury accident. 

Cpl. McGee took a report of a possible order of protection violation. 

Officers spoke to three individuals requesting information or assistance and issued two traffic warnings.

September 16

Officer Barnes found open doors at the golf course. She secured the buildings.

Officer Barnes responded to a disturbance. A verbal argument took place and did not become physical. 

September 17

Asst. Chief Schwien responded to the school to speak with an individual regarding an order or protection.

Asst. Chief Schwien received a call for a juvenile refusing to go to school. He told the parents to either discipline the juvenile or contact their juvenile services caseworker.

Officers spoke to six individuals requesting information or assistance and issued two traffic warnings.

September 18

Officers responded to a vehicle accident involving a pole. They arrested the driver for intoxication.

Asst. Chief Schwien received a traffic complaint of a vehicle blocking an intersection. He found a tractor trailer broken down and unable to clear the roadway.

Asst. Chief Schwien responded to the lumber yard for a report of a fight. He took one individual into custody and later released them with a citation for assault.
