Asst. Chief Stetson Schwien responded to a commercial alarm. He found the building secure.
Asst. Chief Schwien responded to Valley View for a report of harassment. 
Asst. Chief Schwien responded to Sonic for a report of a vehicle striking one of the menu displays and then leaving the scene. The video footage will be obtained, and the case remains under investigation.
Cpl. Alexis Johnson responded to Liberty Terrace Apartments for a verbal argument. They contacted both parties and advised them of the 12-hour rule and they agreed to separate.
Officers issued nine traffic warnings.

Officer Megan Barnes conducted security checks on local businesses. 
Officer Reinholdt spoke to an individual requesting to go to jail for political reasons, with no charges or case. They advised the individual of how to go about a political route.

Cpl. McGee received a request to check on children playing in a vehicle. She conducted a wellbeing check of the children in the home and found they had covered the home and themselves in baby powder.

Asst. Chief Schwien investigated a non-injury vehicle accident at Hwy 60 and Pine Street.
Col. Johnson spoke with an individual about a possible haunted bike that moves on its own in front of their house. The individual wanted it removed. 
Chief James Perkins responded to a report of an intoxicated individual causing a disturbance. 
Cpl. Johnson responded to a disturbance. The parties involved wanted to press charges against each other.

Officer Kris Reinholdt assisted a homeowner after they discovered a syringe on their property.

Officers spoke to two individuals requesting information or assistance and issued ten traffic warnings.

Cpl. Kylie McGee received a report of an individual pulled violently from a vehicle. Officers spoke to both and found no injuries were apparent. They agreed to stay separated for the night.
Cpl. McGee served subpoenas for the municipal court. 
Cpl. McGee investigated a report of dirt bikes tearing up park property. She found no evidence of damage and warned the bike owners. 
Officer Dylan Cook assisted with a disputed child custody exchange. 
Officer Cook began an investigation into a report of stealing from Apple Market. 
Officers spoke to four individuals requesting information or assistance and issued two traffic warnings.
September 1

Officer Barnes responded to a report of a verbal dispute. Her investigation revealed an active warrant from Texas County for one of the individuals. 
Officer McDaniel investigated a non-injury vehicle accident involving a construction truck and a power pole.
Officer Cook took a report of a gas drive off. He received photo evidence. 
Officers spoke to four individuals requesting information or assistance and issued one traffic warning.
September 3
Officers responded to a requested wellbeing check for an individual with mental health issues. 
Cpl. McGee spoke to an individual reporting possible child endangerment.
Officers issued one traffic warning.
September 4
Asst. Chief Schwien conducted traffic control at the Mountain View Elementary school crosswalk.
Asst. Chief Schwien investigated a report of a vehicle nearly striking children waiting for the school bus. He will pass the information to the school resource officer. 
Asst. Chief Schwien checked on a vehicle possibly involved in an accident. The owner stated they would take care of the vehicle themselves and did not need a report.
