Calls for Service

June 13

Officer Dylan Cook responded to aggressive dogs at large. Officers approached the dogs, which charged and became threatening to officers. They used non-lethal methods to deter the dogs and issued the owners citations to court.

Assistant Chief Stetson Schwien issued two nuisance violation warnings.

Assistant Chief Schwien responded to a report of a physical altercation. He arrested one subject and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending charges.

Officers issued one traffic warnings.

June 14

Chief James Perkins conducted a security check on a vehicle parked at the golf course for multiple days. 

Officers spoke to four individuals requesting information or assistance and issued three traffic warnings.

June 15

Cpl. Kylie McGee investigated a non-injury vehicle accident.

Cpl. McGee investigated a report of a structure fire. They found a grill that caught fire.

Officers issued two traffic warnings.

June 16

Officer Koleman McDaniel responded to the car wash for a report of teenagers tearing up the property. He advised them they are trespassed from the property and if they returned, citations would be issued.

Cpl. McGee spoke to an individual involved in a search warrant requesting personal items. 

Officers spoke to two individuals requesting information or assistance.

June 17

Officer Reinholdt issued a warning to juveniles playing loud music.

Officer Megan Barnes investigated a suspicious incident possibly involving a firearm. Witnesses claimed they did not hear anything.

Officer Barnes assisted EMS with a medical call.

Cpl. McGee assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop.

Cpl. McGee conducted a safety check on a homeless individual.

Officers spoke to five individuals requesting information or assistance and issued three traffic violations.

June 18

Officer Cook conducted security checks on local businesses and found an open door. He cleared and secured the building. 

Officer Cook assisted an individual with a stuck door at their residence.

June 19

Officers responded to a noise complaint.

Officer Barnes responded to Subway for a trespassing issue.

Officers spoke to two individuals requesting information or assistance and issued four traffic warnings.
