Officer Matthew Combs spoke with employees of Subway after they received a phone call from an individual saying inappropriate things.
Officers responded to Fifth St Apartments for a trespassing complaint. They issued a citation.
January 17
Cpl. Kylie McGee responded to an ongoing peace disturbance problem.
January 18
Officer Kris Reinholdt responded to a report of harassment.
Officer Reinholdt received a second call of harassment. The subjects left the area before officers arrived.
January 19
Officers assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Office with a request to respond to a shots fired call. They responded and arrested the subject.
Cpl. McGee assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Office and the fire department with an assault. She arrested the suspect and turned them over to the Sheriff’s Office.
January 21
Chief Stetson Schwien responded to an individual with a mental crisis situation. They restrained the individual and placed them on a 96-hour hold.
An individual entered the department and made a report of their son stealing money from them.
For the week officers: received one animal call, conducted one area check, followed up on two cases, spoke with two individuals requesting information, and issued six traffic warnings.
