Calls for Service

May 5

Operation Relentless Pursuit and Troop G Task Force Officers assisted the Reynolds County Sheriff's Office and South Central Drug Task Force with the service of a search and arrest warrant in Lesterville. They located the suspect at the residence.

Deputy Nicholas Barslow took a report of harassment and threats.

Cadet Tyler West and Cadet Brenton Fine were involved in a motor vehicle accident involving a Howell County Sheriff’s Office vehicle in Springfield. Springfield Police Department refused to complete an accident report on the incident. 

Deputy Tyler Ryan responded to County Road 3350 in Willow Springs for a domestic altercation. They placed one subject on a 24-hour hold. Formal charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office.

May 6

Deputy Crownover a bailiff at the Howell County courthouse, observed an attempt to introduce contraband to an inmate in custody from a civilian outside the courthouse during a transport of the inmate to court and interjected stopping the contraband from being introduced to the

inmate.

Lt. Jason Long received a tip regarding the location of fugitive Elizabeth Poole in the Branson area. He contacted Troop D, Taney County fugitive task force officer Detective Isaac Johnston for assistance in locating Ms. Poole. They located the subject and took her into custody without incident.

Deputy Leekota Amore, while serving as the School Resource Officer at the Zizzer Pride Academy, received information of an incident concerning one student striking another

student with a closed fist. No charges will be sought.

Corporal Travis Weaver responded to the area of State Route AB in West Plains for the report of someone shooting at a horse. His investigation located evidence at the scene. This case will be ongoing.

Corporal Weaver responded to the area of US Highway West 160 in West Plains for the report of a runaway juvenile. He located the juveniles and returned them to their home.

May 7

Deputy Hunter Ward responded to alleged threats and harassment on County Road 5900 in Willow Springs. He placed a subject on a 24-hour hold and transported them to the Howell County Adult Detention Center. This case will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.

Deputy Trenton Roberts responded to Co Rd 6980 in Pottersville for a dog bite. He informed the owners to isolate the animal for 10 days.

Deputy T. Ryan conducted a warrant service in Willow Springs. An additional charge will

be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor's Office.

May 8

Deputy Blaise Dudding responded to a possible theft on County Road 8240. This case will be closed at this time due to insufficient evidence.

Deputy Michael Pauly received a call of a fight on US Highway 160 West Plains. Both parties refused to file a report.

May 9

Deputy Avery Stolba received notice of a death on County Road 2010, West Plains.

Deputy Pauly received a call to meet DFS investigator at the Lanton Store for an interview with a child.

Deputy Pauly received a call of a disturbance on US Highway 60, Brandsville. He took a report of property damage.

May 10

Deputy Pauly received a call of an assault. He spoke to the victim on Cedar Steet in West Plains.

May 11

Corporal Weaver responded to the area of County Road 1770 in West Plains for the report of a dog being abandoned on the roadway by its owner. He arrested the dog’s owner and released them with a citation to court.
