July 21
Deputy First Class Robert Malone responded to County Road 3130 for a report of a theft at the property. The case is still under investigation.
Deputy Hunter Ward responded to alleged shots fired on State Route JJ in West Plains. They placed one subject on a 24-hour hold and transported them to the Howell County Jail. This case will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office.
Deputy Michael Pauly took a report of trespassing.
Deputy Kory Taylor received a call for service in regard to a landlord and tenant dispute on US Highway 63. His investigation led to the arrest of the landlord for unlawful possession of a firearm.
July 22
Deputy Avery Stolba responded to an address on State Route N, Pomona, for a disturbance.
Corporal Jacob Hamby responded to County Road 5800 in Willow Springs in regards to a missing juvenile. He located the juvenile and completed a Children's Division Hotline.
Deputy Stolba took a report of a stolen license plate.
Deputy First Class Robert Malone responded to a stealing call on Private Road 6314 in West Plains.
Deputy Nicholas Barslow took a report of harassment.
July 23
Deputy Chancey Hambelton conducted a traffic stop on Davis Dr. in West Plains. The operator of the vehicle consented to a search, and officers located items of suspected narcotics. They arrested both occupants of the vehicle.
Deputy Barslow took a report of a scam.
Deputy Barslow responded to a death investigation in the area of County Road 7080 in West Plains.
ORP Troop G Fugitive Task Force Officers arrested a subject at his home in Bunker, Reynolds County for an outstanding warrant from Texas.
July 24
Deputy Brandon Barnes responded to a residence for a report of several stolen firearms. They located and arrested a suspect, recovering multiple firearms.
Sergeant Seth Smith received a call for a theft of a firearm from a vehicle on US Highway 160, West Plains.
July 25
Deputy Hambelton spoke to an individual reporting someone harassed, blackmailed,
and intimidated them.
Deputy Blaise Dudding responded to Private Road 1612, West Plains for a death investigation.
Deputy Hambelton responded to State Route WW for a violation of an order of protection.
July 26
Deputy Austin DeShazo conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 63, West Plains and later arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated.
Deputy Hambelton responded to County Road 8240 in West Plains for a deceased individual.
Deputy DeShazo responded to a disturbance involving a firearm, at a residence located on State Route 76, Willow Springs. After investigation they arrested an individual and transported them to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office Jail and placed them on a 24 hour hold. This case will be referred to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for review.
July 27
Deputy Barslow took a report of assault.
Deputy Tyler Ryan spoke with an individual reporting a sexual abuse incident. He reported the incident to the Missouri Abuse and Neglect Hotline.
