Kids need Spence as leader

To the Editor,
We would like to say we are proud to be a part of the Willow Springs School District.
My wife, myself, our three children, six of our grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter has so far graduated from Willow Springs High School.
It’s time we stand up and call our school board members and get behind them to keep Marty Spence as our superintendent. He has done a good job. and we feel will continue to do a good job. He loves to work with and for our kids. Most important, our kids need him as their leader.
He made a mistake, but who hasn’t? And he also owned up to it. My Bible says in Jesus’ words in John 8:7, “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone.”
Also in Jesus' words in Matthew 6:15 it says, “But, if ye forgive not man their trespasses, neither will the Father forgive you.”
It’s time we stand behind Marty and the school board and look for solutions, not criticism.
