David Clayton Smith, 89, of Willow Springs, Missouri, formerly of Salem, passed away December 2, 2025, in Willow Springs, Missouri.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel. Burial with Military Honors to follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
David is survived by his wife: Faye Smith of Willow Springs, MO; daughter: Brenda Collins and husband Robin of Willow Springs, MO; brother: Vernon O. Smith and wife Beverly of Van Buren, AR; grandsons: Taylor Collins and fiancé Rene and Tanner Collins; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents: Samuel and Lorine (Welch) Smith; brother: Clinton Smith; and infant granddaughter: Savannah.
Memorial Contributions may be made in memory of David Smith to the American Heart Association and left with Wilson Mortuary. Memorial Envelopes will be available.
