Officer Mark Templemere conducted security checks of businesses.

Officer Templemere assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Office. 

Animal Control Andy Logan began an investigation into suspicious circumstances around two dogs and conflicting ownership claims.

Chief Wes Ellison accepted found property of a firearm found on Main Street near Pine Street. 

Officer Joe Barnhouse took a report of identity theft. 

Officer Barnhouse and Sgt. David Hocking served a subject with a trespassing order.

Chief Ellison and Deputy Chief Boyle conducted a requested wellbeing check on Sixth Street.

February 13

Officer Corey Clark conducted security checks of local businesses.

Sgt. Hocking and Officer Clark responded to East High St for a verbal domestic argument. While officers attempted to assist one individual, they became irate and officers placed them under arrest. The individual resisted arrest and officers transported them to WSPD for booking and issued several citations. One of the parties involved left the residence for the night

Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses.

Officer McGinnis assisted Missouri State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop. Their investigation found an individual with an active arrest warrant. Officer McGinnis assisted the individual with posting bond.

Officer McGinnis assisted EMS with a medical call on Bray Drive. 

Officer Barnhouse assisted EMS with a medical call on Sixth Street. 

Officers Barnhouse and McGinnis conducted a requested wellbeing check on Sixth Street and found everything fine.

Lt. Zeller investigated the break in of a vehicle on State Route 76.

Lt. Zeller and Officer McGinnis conducted a requested wellbeing check on State Route 76 and found everything fine.

Officer Clark conducted a requested wellbeing check on East Fourth St and found everything fine.

Officer Templemere responded to a commercial alarm on Hill Street.  

Officer Templemere assisted EMS with a medical call on Hill Street.

February 18

Officer Templemere conducted security checks of local businesses.

Officer Clark conducted a requested wellbeing check on East Sixth Street.

Officer Barnhouse responded to a verbal disturbance on State Route 76 and separated the parties involved. 

Sgt. Hocking responded to a verbal altercation on North Grand St. 

 

 For the week officers: investigated four claims of wrongdoing, one abandoned vehicle, two animal calls, three suspicious events, conducted one requested area check, assisted two motorists, spoke to nine individuals requesting or giving information, returned requested contact to four individuals, spoke with seven people in the department, and issued thirty-one traffic warnings.
