Calls for Service

December 29

Deputy Kyle Holloway received a call of an auto theft that occurred at Star Mart #1 in Pomona. They located the vehicle on County Road 1750 in Pomona. Charges will be filed once a suspect is identified.

An individual turned themselves in to the Sherriff’s Office after receiving information from Operation Relentless Pursuit about active warrants in their name.

Deputy Auston Ryan took a report of burglary and stealing.

Deputy Nicholas Barslow received information about a stolen motor vehicle in the area of State Route 17, West Plains. Formal Charges will be sent to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

Deputy Holloway conducted a VIN verification on a vehicle in West Plains.

Deputy Barslow conducted an agency assist in the area of Kentucky Ave with Oregon County Sheriff's Office.

Deputy First Class Robert Malone responded to a disturbance on County Road 5120 in Willow Springs.

Deputy Avery Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at an address on State Route 76, Willow Springs.

Deputy Stolba took a report of stolen property from County Road 8370, West Plains.

Deputy Tyler Ryan responded to County Road 1990 in Willow Springs regarding an order of protection violation.

December 30

Deputy Kory Taylor received a call in regard to a commercial alarm activated at a business in South Fork. Shortly after the initial call, an individual reported the building fully engulfed in flames. Multiple local fire departments responded to the scene to extinguish the fire.

Deputy First Class Malone took a report of a lost or stolen license plate.

December 31

Deputy T. Ryan conducted a traffic stop on State Route 14. After an investigation, he arrested a passenger and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges for possession of a controlled substance.

Deputy Brandon Barnes received a call regarding an ongoing issue with one neighbor harassing the other. Information he will be forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

Deputy Hambelton responded to County Road 5740 in Willow Springs for traffic cones blocking the roadway.

Deputy First Class Colter Reid responded to County Road 9690, West Plains to conduct a requested wellbeing check. He found a subject deceased from what appeared to be natural causes.

Deputy Stolba with Corporal Weaver working under the Operation Relentless Pursuit received information of two wanted individuals living in Howell County. They located the individuals and took both into custody

Deputy Vice received a call concerning a fight at Country Nights in West Plains. He arrested one individual.

January 1

Deputy Austin DeShazo responded to a residence located on State Route MM, Caulfield for a report of disturbance at a residence. His investigation determined no crime occurred and a verbal altercation took place.

Deputy Jordon Collins responded to a residence on County Road 2010, West Plains for a report of a domestic altercation. 

Deputy First Class Reid responded to State Route N, Pomona to assist Children's Division with an investigation. The case will be considered closed.

Corporal Timothy Gordon responded to a residence in the Willow Springs area for a report concerning animal abuse or abandonment. His investigation included animals apparently abandoned without any food. This incident will continue to be investigated pending further information.

January 2

Deputy Stolba, OSN 202 while working the Operation Relentless Pursuit conducted a warrant arrest on an individual at Nebraska Ave, West Plains.

Deputy Barnes received a call about a juvenile contacting an adult and sending explicit photographs and meeting the adult in person.

Corporal Gordon responded to Private Road 1511 in Pomona for a report of vandalism to a vehicle.

Corporal Gordon conducted a traffic stop on Highway 17 near Mountain View and after an investigation, arrested an individual for several violations. 

January 3

Deputy DeShazo responded to Private Road 1830, West Plains, for a report of a verbal domestic. After an investigation he determined nothing physically occurred between the parties. He arrested an individual and placed them on a 12 hour hold for their intoxication level and the dangers to themselves and others. This report will be considered closed.

Deputy First Class Reid assisted an individual turning themselves in for active warrants.

January 4

Deputy Ryan conducted a traffic stop in the area of County Road 5610. He arrested the driver for an active warrant out of Howell County.

Deputy Stolba, working under the Operation Relentless Pursuit program, conducted a warrant arrest on an individual at State Route 142, Caulfield.

Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at an address on Paula Dr, West Plains.
