Kerri Huett

Kerri Huett, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 59. Born in Bellflower, California, on April 16, 1966, she grew up embracing the warmth and free-spirited energy of her home state on the coast. Even after moving to St. Louis with her family for work, Kerri remained a California girl at heart, carrying the sunshine, strength, and easygoing nature of the West Coast with her wherever she went.

 

Kerri was a remarkably strong woman, known for her resilience and unwavering determination in the face of ongoing health challenges. She bravely fought every battle placed before her, never giving up and never losing her heart. Her courage, perseverance, and quiet strength inspired everyone who knew her, especially her family, who watched her face life with grace even on the hardest days.

 

Her career as a professional truck driver was a source of pride for Kerri, allowing her to see the country and connect with people from all walks of life. True to her nature, she never met a stranger. Whether through a shared story, a warm laugh, or a heartfelt conversation, Kerri had a way of making people feel seen, welcome, and valued. Her radiant smile and genuine kindness left a lasting impression everywhere she went.

 

Kerri found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved crafting, playing board games with her family, listening to music of all kinds, and caring deeply for animals. She had a special love for turtles, particularly the Galápagos Island tortoises, admiring their gentleness and longevity. Her loyal dog, Jack, was her constant companion and brought her great comfort and happiness. An enthusiastic fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Kerri enjoyed cheering on her team and sharing those moments with loved ones.

 

Above all else, Kerri's greatest love was her family. She shared 28 years of marriage with her husband, Keith, and together they built a life filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering support throughout their 31 years together. Kerri was a strong woman who loved with her whole heart and fought harder than anyone for everything in her life. She was the best friend to both her daughter and her husband, the heart of their family, and the center of their world. To them, she was home. She was a proud and loving mother to her daughter, Kylie, who was not only her child but her best friend, confident, and heart.

 

Kerri is survived by her loving husband, Keith; her daughter, Kylie; and numerous other relatives and friends who cherished her deeply. Her caring heart, gentle soul, and joyful spirit touched every life she encountered.

 

In her honor, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be determined. Kerri will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, her kindness, and the boundless love she gave so freely. In her memory, please do something kind for someone else, just as she always did.
