December 15
Officer Ivie Powell investigated a non-vehicle, leaving the scene, accident.
Officer Brent Keepes responded to Fourth Street for a report of a domestic altercation with injuries. He arrested the suspect for assault and felony outstanding warrant.
December 16
Officer Brandon Vernon responded to Kentucky Drive for a report of a previous assault. His investigation learned a patient assaulted staff members with one obtaining minor injuries. A probable cause statement will be completed for this incident.
Officer Jesse Martin investigated a non-injury, leaving the scene, vehicle accident at Murphy’s Gas Station.
Officer Keepes responded to Westway for a possible domestic altercation. His investigation found a domestic situation occurred. No charges will be sought due to an uncooperative victim.
December 17
Officer Dawson Beavers spoke with an individual reporting a previous domestic altercation. No charges will be filed due to an uncooperative victim.
December 18
Officer Jacob Beadell responded to Hull St for a individual suffering from an altered mental status. After completing interviews, they transported the subject to Ozarks Healthcare for an evaluation.
Sgt. Joshua Wichowki received notice of a wrong-way driver traveling southbound towards West Plains from Pomona. He later located the crash scene and located an individual who fled the scene of the crash. The investigation will be conducted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Officer Robert Shell conducted a warrant service on State Route K.
December 19
Cpl. Wesley Stuart responded to Chestnut for a commercial alarm. He located an open door and after checking the area, there did not appear to be any criminal activity at the business or foul play.
Officer Vernon responded to Bartley St for a report of a juvenile harming themselves and attacking a sibling. They transported one individual to the hospital.
Officer Tombley responded to 7th Street to assist the Children's Division. The case will be ongoing.
Officer Vernon responded to WalMart for a report of property damage to a vehicle.
Officer Vernon arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.
December 20
Officer Chris Barrett took a report on Lisa Street of a verbal domestic.
Officer Shell arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.
December 21
Officer Beadell responded to Trish Knight Dr for a report of suspicious circumstances involving a weapon. After his investigation he arrested two subjects. This case will be referred to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Officer Siegrist responded to W. First in reference to a physical domestic. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
