Kristina Borskey

Kristina Borskey, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on December 1, 2025, in Pomona. Born on March 24, 1992, in West Plains, Kristina brought warmth, creativity, and vibrant imagination to every life she touched.

 

Kristina grew up surrounded by the beauty of the Ozarks, which fostered her deep appreciation for nature. She was never happier than when she was outdoors—hiking, searching for unique rocks, or simply admiring wildflowers. In fact, she never met a flower she didn't love.

 

A true artist at heart, Kristina loved to draw and craft, always creating unique pieces that reflected her boundless imagination. She enjoyed sharing her stories through both her art and her writing, delighting those around her with her fantastic tales.

 

Her love for animals was unwavering, especially for her cherished cats, Pepper and Rosa, who brought her endless joy and comfort. Kristina found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, such as reading a good book, sipping tea or coffee, and spending quality time with friends and family.

 

Kristina attended West Plains High School, earned her Associate Degree from Missouri State University and later achieved her Bachelor's Degree from Southwest Baptist University. She worked at Regal Beloit and took great pleasure in delivering flowers for the Posey Patch, sharing beauty and smiles throughout her community.

 

She looked forward to OzCon every year, often dressing up as her favorite character and immersing herself in the joy of fandom and creativity. Kristina dreamed of one day owning a cozy cabin in the woods, complete with a rocking chair on the porch, where she could continue to enjoy nature's tranquility. She also enjoyed meeting her friends Jodie & Emmily for lunch and crafting.

 

Kristina's strong will, independence, and kindness were matched only by her desire to bring happiness to others. She was the "Fun Aunt" to her nieces and nephews—Aspen, Aria, and Mikal—delighting in giving them books and candy. Family time was precious to her, especially with her brother Krystopher (Kelly) and her sister Kyla (Kyle).

 

She is survived by her loving parents, Rick and Sherry Hall; her brother, Krystopher (Kelly); her sister, Kyla (Kyle); her cherished nieces and nephew; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.

 

A Celebration of Life honoring Kristina will be held at a later date to be determined. Her spirit, creativity, and love will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
