Chief Wes Ellison arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.

Officer Joe Barnhouse arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant from Howell County. 

Cpl. David Hocking responded to East Main St. in reference to a daughter and mother having a verbal argument. He separated both parties.

Officer Barnhouse investigated a non-injury vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a deer.

Officer Corey Clark investigated a vehicle accident involving an intoxicated driver. 

Animal Control Officer Andy Logan recovered an animal running at large and returned it to the owner.

ACO Logan investigated a report of a skunk at the school.

Chief Ellison and Deputy Chief Boyle assisted West Plains Police Department with a warrant arrest.

Officer Barnhouse assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Department with a warrant arrest.

Cpl. Hocking responded to East Main Street for a verbal domestic and spoke to all parties. 

September 5

Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses. 

Corporal Hocking, Officer McGinnis and Officer Clark responded to a residence on Corn Ave in reference to trespassing. They trespassed an individual and told them not to return to the property.

Officer Cary Gates removed debris from the roadway on State Route 76.

Officer Gates provided traffic control for a tire change.

Officer Barnhouse conducted a safety check on a driver with a disabled vehicle on US 60/63 and St Rt 76 and provided traffic control for a vehicle with a flat tire.

Officer Clark investigated a non-injury vehicle accident.

Deputy Chief Boyle responded to East Main St for a verbal argument. 

Officer McGinnis spoke with an individual regarding a juvenile problem. 

Officer McGinnis responded to Park Street for a trespassing complaint.

September 6

Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses. 

Officers McGinnis, Clark, and Corporal Hocking responded to a fireworks call. Their investigation found minors consuming alcohol. They arrested one subject and will seek charges for supplying alcohol to a minor.

Officers conducted traffic control for a wrecker moving a vehicle. 

Officer McGinnis conducted a requested wellbeing check.

Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses. 

Officer McGinnis responded to a noise complaint and told the individuals to turn their music down.

Officer Barnhouse investigated a report of a commercial alarm at Sunshine and Sixth Streets.

Officer McGinnis assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop
