Upcoming events for Willow Springs Arts Council

The Willow Springs Arts Council will be offering a Glass Etching Class on Sunday, Nov. 16, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. upstairs at the Ferguson Building. Participants will go home with three gorgeous pieces to keep or give as presents. Supplies are included in the $20.00 class fee. Register now at the Ferguson Building or online on the Willow Springs Arts Council Facebook page.

 

For the third year, the arts council is sponsoring a Wreath Decorating Contest. To participate, enter the contest by picking up a wreath at the Ferguson Building starting November 10, decorate the wreath and return it to the Ferguson by November 26. The wreaths will then be on display for viewing and bidding in a silent auction from December 2 to December 6 at the Star Annex. If you are interested in purchasing a beautiful, one-of-a-kind wreath, drop in and place a bid. The bidding will end at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, the day of the Willow Springs Christmas Parade. Judging of the wreaths will be the same day.

 

To keep the Holiday Spirit going, mark your calendars now for a Christmas Concert to be presented by the Southern Ozarks Community Orchestra on Sunday, Dec. 14. The arts council is proud to have sponsored this group since 2009. This is a full orchestra playing Christmas favorites. The concert will be at the Star Theater and start at 3:00 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door.
