Third Annual Missouri Vietnam Wall Run Coming Through Willow Springs

Veterans in Defense of Liberty’s Liberty Riders of America Division is hosting the Third Annual Missouri Vietnam Wall Run 2021. This veterans’ motorcycle event on Friday - National POW/MIA Recognition Day - and Saturday, September 17 and 18 will honor America’s POW-MIA’s, fallen and all Vietnam Veterans, 
This statewide motorcycle run will ride to veterans’ events and the Veterans’ Memorial Wall in Perryville (with the only identical Sister Wall to the Vietnam Memorial Wall in D.C.). A ceremony with guest speakers will follow. The Keynote speaker will be Medal of Honor recipient Patrick Henry Brady, a Dust-Off pilot in Vietnam and the most highly decorated veteran living.
This year’s ride features “The Saluting Marine,” Veteran Staff Sergeant Tim Chambers, USMC as a special guest.  Chambers has become known to the world for standing at attention for hours during the Rolling Thunder event held each spring in Washington D.C. to honor veterans and raise awareness for POW/MIA issues.
The Springfield route will meet at Mike’s Unique’s at 7 a.m. on Friday, September 17 and will have a scheduled 30-minute stop at Love’s in Willow Springs at 9:30 a.m.  Riders from across the state will rendezvous Saturday, September 18 at 11 a.m. to noon at Fredericktown Walmart of all riders who would like to participate in an incredible Parade of Honor to Perryville Veterans Memorial Wall. Everyone is welcome, and participation in this event is free.
