MVPD Officer injured in head-on collision

A two-vehicle accident occured on Wednesday, Sept. 13, in Mountain View that left an officer with minor injuries. According to reports, a female driver struck a patrol car head-on. Upon arrival of Chief Jamie Perkins, the female driver was determined to possibly be under the influence. She was taken into custody for DUI. The female was booked and released from the Mtn. View Police Department.
