Hearing on Main St. building, downtown parking on agenda Thurs.

This Thursday, the Willow Springs Board of Aldermen will conduct a public hearing on the downtown building at 104 E. Main. The hearing will take place at 5:30 p.m., Mar. 16 in the city council chambers at 900 W. Main. Members of the public will not be invited to speak at the hearing.

The regular meeting will follow, and two downtown business owners are scheduled to address the aldermen. Christy Graves will speak about downtown beautification. Anna Mayberry will be addressing downtown parking. 

Other items of note on the agenda include:

-a demonstration from the Willow Springs Fire Department, and

-recreational marijuana ordinance revisions

This meeting, like all meetings of the board of aldermen, is open to the public.
