ELECTION DAY IS APRIL 4

Willow Springs R-IV: four running for three seats
There are four contenders for the three available seats on the Willow Springs School Board. Incumbents Matt Hobson, Adam Webb, and Brent Colley have all filed for reelection. Newcomer Larry Huitt has also filed. The three candidates who receive the most votes will take their seats on the board.
Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III: five running for three seats
Eric Wells and Shelly Mantel filed for reelection to the R-III school board. Incumbent Keith Tharp is not running again. Challengers for the board seats are Tyler W. Newton, John Thompson, and Kevin Pruett. The three candidates who receive the most votes will serve on the school board. 
 
Two challengers run against incumbents for West Plains R-VII 
Incumbents Jack "Lee" Freeman, Christena Silvey Coleman, and Warren "Reid" Grigsby have filed for reelection for the West Plains R-VII school board. They are challenged by Jodie Purgason and Scott Tuma. The three candidates who receive the most votes will win the seats. 
Two contested races in West Plains
There are two seats up for election in West Plains on April 4: the mayor's seat and the seat currently held by Councilman Josh Cotter, both four-year terms. Incumbent Mayor Mike Topliff is challenged by Donnie McClellan. For City Council, Councilman Josh Cotter is not seeking reelection. The open seat is a contest between Greg P. Collins and Michael D. Wright, Jr. 
Uncontested election for Willow Springs
The three incumbents whose seats were up for election in April have all filed for reelection and are running unopposed. For Alderman Ward I, Phill Knott will keep his seat. For Ward II, Alderman Danny Bradley will serve again. Mayor Brooke Fair has also filed to run unopposed for her upcoming term. 
City of Mountain View gets a simple ballot
For the upcoming municipal election, voters in Mountain View will see an uncontested ballot, confirms City Hall. Steven Sills will run unopposed for the East Ward alderman seat currently held by Laura Wagner. In the West Ward, Brenda Colter is unopposed for the alderman seat in which Punkie Stevenson serves.
