Area emergency drill planned April 5

An emergency drill will be held at a Willow Springs facility the evening of Wednesday, April 5. Partners in the exercise will include Coastal Energy and multiple city departments, as well as numerous regional entities. The event is not open to the public.
Participating in the drill will be emergency management, police, fire, street, and electric departments from the City of Willow Springs; Missouri Highway Patrol-Troop G, SEMA (State Emergency Management Agency), and Department of Transportation; Region G HazMat Team; Howell County 911 and Howell County Emergency Management; City of West Plains Fire Department; and other area fire departments. 
The exercise will be held at a Coastal Energy facility, and meets emergency management requirements for the public and private entities. Recent accidents of many types across the nation underscore the importance of emergency planning for communities. Coastal Energy is pleased to partner with all the participating agencies.
