Lakeland Pharmacy Opens at New Location

Lakeland Pharmacy closed their former location on East Main St. in Willow Springs on September 4 and reopened on Tuesday, September 8 at their newly constructed location on Bear Drive. The new building is located in the strip mall near the South Junction. Lakeland Pharmacy joins three other businesses, Eleven Point Financial Advisors, United Country Real Estate, and On the Floor, in the business complex on Bear Drive. 

According to store manager Brandon Gregory, the new location offers more space, but has allowed the pharmacy to retain a very similar layout. The new location closer to highway access offers the advantage of more conveniently serving Lakeland’s out of town customers, Gregory said. The building was constructed specifically for Lakeland’s use. 

Opening day at the new location was a particularly hectic one, Gregory said. 

“For whatever reason, the day after Labor Day is always one of the busiest of the year,” he said. 

The interior layout will seem familiar to Lakeland’s customers; it is very similar to the way it was established on East Main St. 

“We still have the same services in a new location,” Gregory explained.
