Lady Bears 5-2 for season

The Willow Springs Lady Bears are starting off strong with a 5-2 record during the first two weeks of the 2024 volleyball season.
On Monday, Sept. 16 the Lady Bears travelled to Licking where they lost in a 5-set game against the Licking Wildcats 2-3. The game was a battle was the Lady Bears took the first set 26-24, lost the second set 15-25, came back in the third 25-22, narrowly lost the fourth set 22-25 finally succumbing to the Lady Wildcats 6-15 in the fifth.
On Tuesday, Sept. 17 the Lady Bears swept the Doniphan Lady Dons at home, 25-15, 25-19 and 25-4.
Thursday, Sept. 19 the Lady Bears hosted the Houston Lady Tigers where they came away with another 3 game victory, 25-10, 25-15 and 25-15.
Next up for the Lady Bears is an away game in Eminence on Monday, Sept. 23, an away game in Mountain View on Tuesday, Sept. 24 and a final away game on Thursday, Sept. 26 at Thayer.
