Officer Barnhouse conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after the driver turned off the vehicle lights and attempted to hide. He arrested one subject on a warrant and four total citations were issued for multiple traffic and alcohol violations.

Officer McGinnis took a report of a non-injury vehicle accident at Loves.

Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses.

Officer McGinnis took a report of harassment. After a thorough investigation, no charges will be filed, as there is insufficient evidence of any threat.

Animal Control Officer Logan responded to a residence in Quail Run for a dog at large inside a residence. While attempting capture, AC Logan received a bite through his glove. He returned the dog to the owner and further action on the matter will be pending.

Sgt. Hocking responded to West High Street for a verbal domestic and possible trespassing issue. 

Sgt. Hocking conducted requested wellbeing checks on Industrial Drive and East Main Street.

Officer Clark responded to Welch Drive for a commercial alarm.

Officer McGinnis assisted EMS with medical calls on State Route 76 and East Main Street. 

Officer Clark responded to West High St. for a verbal domestic.

Officer Clark conducted security checks of local businesses.

Officer McGinnis received a report of a terroristic threat. He arrested one subject, and charges will be sent to the prosecuting attorney.

Sgt. Hocking arrested an individual on West Fourth Street for an outstanding warrant.

Deputy Chief Boyle conducted a requested wellbeing check on State Route 76.

 

For the week officers: responded to eight animal calls, conducted six area checks, assisted eight motorists, assisted four other agencies, investigated five non-injury accidents, assisted three civil matter situations, conducted eight miscellaneous administrative duties, investigated five suspicious circumstances, spoke with seventeen individuals requesting or giving information, spoke with 18 people inside the police office, returned requested contact to 19 individuals, and issued 42 traffic warnings.
