Individuals associated with Lucky Laptop News instigated several phone calls, emails, and internet posts in an attempt to harass the citizens of the City of Willow Springs and Howell County 911.
Cpl. David Hocking contacted an individual in the parking lot behind the library known to have an active warrant. Investigation found the individual also had an active warrant from Cabool. 
Officer Ryan McGinnis conducted security checks of local businesses.
Officer Joe Barnhouse conducted a safety check of a suspicious person in the area of the viaduct. 
Officer Barnhouse responded to East Sixth Street for a report of stealing.

Officer Joby Hoopes received information of an individual with an active warrant from West Plains. He contacted the individual and transported them to West Plains Police Department.
Cpl. Hocking received a call in reference to harassment from a former employee. 
Officer Hedlesten responded to Oak Wood Drive for a report of a juvenile problem. He did not locate the juvenile.
Officer Hedlesten responded to Railroad Drive for a report of a suspicious vehicle. He did not locate the vehicle.
Officers responded to Main Street for a report of an assault. 
Cpl. Hocking responded to West Fourth Street for a report of a verbal disturbance.
Officer McGinnis conducted security checks of local businesses.
May 18
Officers McGinnis, Barnhouse, and Cpl. Hocking observed a vehicle parked at the city pool parking lot with stolen license plates. Investigation found a search of the vehicle located narcotics and paraphernalia.
Cpl. Hocking received a report of a vicious dog in a yard on East Park Street. The animal became aggressive toward officers, and they issued the owner a citation.
Officer McGinnis received a report of a suspicious vehicle. He did not locate the vehicle.
Officer McGinnis assisted EMS with a medical call on Sixth Street.
Officer Hedlesten responded to Welch Drive for a report of suspicious circumstances. He did not locate anything out of place.
Officer Hoopes responded to State Route 76 for a domestic incident. All parties were advised of the 12-hour rule.
Officer Barnhouse responded to an alarm call on East Main. He found the building secure.
Cpl. Hocking conducted a wellbeing check on Corn Avenue.
Officer McGinnis conducted security checks of local businesses.
Officer Barnhouse received a call of a fire in a dumpster at North Center and the alley. He assisted the fire department.
Officers spoke to one person requesting information or assistance and issued eight traffic warnings.

Officer Gates took a report of harassment from an individual at Dollar General.
Officer McGinnis responded to a verbal disturbance.
Sgt. David Struble conducted security checks of local businesses.
Officers spoke to four individuals requesting information or assistance.

Officers spoke to one individual requesting information and issued one traffic warning.

Officers assisted EMS and the fire department with an individual requiring help after a fall.

Officer McGinnis took a report of suspicious activity. Investigation is ongoing. 
Officer Hoopes received found property and secured it.
Officer Hoopes responded to the area of Lane Street in reference to stray dogs running loose and killing chickens.

Cpl. Hocking responded to East High Street for a report of harassment and closed the incident as unfounded.

Officers Barnhouse and Hoopes responded to an address on State Route 76 for a report of a suicidal male and a possible verbal domestic disturbance. Investigation determined that the parties were separated and requested EMS to transport one individual to Ozarks Healthcare for further evaluation. No charges will be filed.
Cpl. Hocking, Officer Barnhouse, and Officer Hoopes responded to State Route 76 in reference to an individual with a knife having suicidal actions. Officers secured the individual who went voluntarily with EMS to Ozarks Health Care for a 96-hour evaluation. Officers contacted Family Services in reference to children inside of the residence.
Officer Barnhouse assisted the children’s division.
Officers issued two traffic warnings.
