October 30
Officer Chris Siegrist responded to the area of W. Broadway in reference to a possible domestic violence incident. The individuals were separated. 
The Arkansas State Police requested the assistance of the West Plains Police Department to attend in-person forensic interview at the South-Central Child Advocacy Center concerning a sexual assault that occurred in Arkansas.
The Mammoth Spring Police Department contacted the West Plains Police Department in reference to a vehicles broken into in Mammoth Spring. West Plains Detectives are currently assisting with that investigation.
Officer Jacob Brixey took a report of harassment. Charges will be forwarded to the West Plains Municipal Prosecutor. 
Officer Jerry Mingus took a report of a juvenile who assaulted another. The case will be referred to the Juvenile Office.  
October 31
Officer Connor Burnes took a report of a juvenile in possession of a vaping product. This case will be forwarded to the Juvenile Office. 
November 1
Officers located an open door at the Laundry Land on Porter Wagoner. Once another officer arrived, they cleared the building, and located no one inside. They attempted to contact the owner who later reported property damage to the business. 
While conducting a security check, Officer Martin located an open door on Chestnut. He cleared the building and found nothing out of place.
Cpl. Thomas Manning responded to an unknown disturbance and after investigation arrested a male suspect in relation to the disturbance resulting in a domestic violence case. 
Officer Burnes received a report of a juvenile with a vape product. This case will be forwarded to the Juvenile Office. 
Cpl. Micah McKemie responded to a subject attempting to cause property damage to a vehicle on Garrett Street. The subject refused to obey orders and resisted arrest. They transported the subject to the hospital for an evaluation and charges are being sought. 
Officer Whitley Clark took a report for juvenile truancy on Jackson Street.
Officer Robert Shell responded to Kentucky Ave. for an assault. Charges will be referred to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.  
November 2
Officer Siegrist conducted a wellbeing check on South Thayer Ave. 
Officer Barrett responded to Missouri Avenue for a report of a domestic violence incident. He arrested one individual and transported them to the West Plains Police Department. During investigation the victim advised they did wish to pursue charges. 
Officer Barrett responded to Grace Avenue for a report of a disturbance in progress. Investigation learned a verbal domestic occurred. No charges will be filed. 
Officer Jacob Miller took a report of a domestic incident. The parties separated for the night.
November 3
Officer Meyer responded to Snappy Mart North for a report of a gas theft. The subject in question paid for the fuel and the business owner did not wish to pursue legal action. 
Officer Burnes took a report of threats. He found one juvenile threatened another during an altercation. None of the parties requested charges. This case will be closed with no charges. 
Officer Burnes received a report that a juvenile had a THC vaping product. This case is still under investigation. 
Cpl. Manning responded to a disturbance call. During the investigation, he encountered another individual creating a disorderly conduct scene in a public place. 
Sgt. Brandon Romans received a report of an inmate held in the West Plains Jail attempted to cause harm to himself. There were no injuries.
Officer Miller responded to Cass Ave for a report of stealing. The case is under investigation.
Officer Barrett received a report from Eighth Street regarding stolen cats. He spoke to the neighbor in possession of the cats, and they were returned to the owners. No charges will be filed.
Officer Miller took a report on Court Square for stealing. This report will be forwarded to the prosecuting attorney for review.
Officers received multiple calls in the area of Worley Drive regarding an individual driving a vehicle recklessly.  
Officer Mingus responded to Lanton Road for an assault. 
Officer Siegrist responded to W. Broadway in reference to shoplifting. This case will be forwarded to the West Plains Municipal Prosecutor’s Office. 
Officers responded to Preacher Roe Blvd. for an individual trespassing on the property. This case will be being forwarded to the City of West Plains Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
November 4
Officer Meyer responded to the intersection of Gibson Avenue and Porter Wagoner Blvd for a report of a single-vehicle crash. Investigation discovered the driver of the vehicle did not have a valid driving status and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. This case will be referred to the Howell County Municipal Prosecutor's Office for review. 
Officer Deshazo responded to West Broadway for a report of stealing. Items were reported stolen out of a vehicle in a parking lot. The investigation is ongoing. 
Officer Miller responded to South Hill St. for a death investigation. He determined the deceased died from natural causes. The case will be closed.
Officer Mingus received a complaint of a barking dog. 
November 5
Officer Deshazo received found property and returned it to the owner.
Officer Deshazo responded for a wellbeing check of an individual and found them with an altered mental status. EMS transported the individual for medical treatment.
Officer Powell responded to Lanton Rd in reference to an individual reported as a missing person that had returned home. He found the individual to have an active arrest warrant out of Texas County. 
November 6
Officer Deshazo received a report of animal abuse. Due to differing stories and a lack of evidence, the case will be closed.
Officer Burnes received a report of a juvenile in possession of a nicotine vape product. This case will be sent to the Juvenile Office. 
Officer Brixey received a report of child abuse. Investigation did not uncover any substance to the abuse claim, and the case will be closed.

Officer Shell responded to an assault on Kentucky Ave. Charges will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. 
Officer Keepes responded to assist Missouri Children's Division. Officers were present while Missouri Children's Division conducted an interview. 
Officer Keepes responded to a report regarding the wellbeing of an individual in the area of the Southern Hills Shopping Center. Due to the individual being a risk to his own well-being officers took them into protective custody.
Officer Martin responded to State Route K for a stealing report. The case will be closed unless further information becomes available.  
November 7
Officer Burnes received a report of a juvenile in possession of a nicotine vape product. This case will be sent to the Juvenile Office. 
Officer Clark took a report of a domestic disturbance on Jackson Street.
Officer Mingus responded to Parkway Shopping for a runaway juvenile. Officers located the juvenile and returned them to the parent. 
November 8
Cpl. Trent Kinder spoke with a juvenile reporting that a purse taken from a business located on Allen Street. Officers later located the purse and a suspect. This incident will closed due to the victim declining to pursue charges in the matter. 
The Southwest MO Cyber Crimes Task Force received a Cyber Tip Report from the National Center of Missing & Exploited Children, indicating that a parent of a juvenile female, discovered that she had messaged child sexual abuse material to an adult male in Wright County, Missouri. Additional information provided that the files were in possession of a male juvenile, who is actively distributing the CSAM files. The investigation is ongoing. 
Officer Burnes responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that the suspect hit them several times. The victim had minor injuries. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Miller took a report of stealing on Davis Dr. The case is under investigation.
Officer Clark received a report of truancy.
November 9
Officer Meyer responded to Opal Street for a report of a disturbance. Investigation learned a subject threatened the victim and left the residence. 
Officer Miller received a report of a sexual offense. The case is under investigation.
Officer Clark responded to the West Plains High School in regard to an out-of-control juvenile. A juvenile referral will be forwarded to the Howell County Juvenile Office. 
Officer Burnes responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that the suspect hit them several times. The victim had minor injuries. This case is still under investigation. 
Officer Siegrist responded to Porter Wagoner in reference to a stolen vehicle report. This case is still open at this time. 
November 10
Officer Miller took a report of stealing. The case will be considered inactive at this time.
Officer Keepes spoke with a parent regarding a runaway juvenile. This case is currently open and remains under active investigation. Efforts will continue to locate and safely return the juvenile. 
Officers responded to multiple calls on Aldridge in reference to disturbances. All parties were separated.
Officer Keepes responded to Saint Louis Street regarding a missing person. They later located the individual in St. Francis County by their local Sheriff department. 
November 11
Officer Meyer responded to Ozarks Healthcare for a report of an ongoing disturbance. During the course of the investigation, it was learned the subject had an altered mental status and was released to Ozarks Healthcare without incident.
Officer Deshazo received a report on Southern Hills for stealing not in progress. This case is inactive, pending further information. 
Officers responded to a call of a suicidal subject near US Highway 63 and Lanton Rd. Two subjects were contacted and transported to OZH to be willingly admitted to the stress unit.
November 12
Officers responded to domestic in progress on Kody Drive. They separated a couple due to an altercation. 
Officers responded to a possible death on Myrtle. They identified the individual and pronounced them deceased on the scene by the Howell County Coroner. 
Officer Siegrist received a call in reference to a disturbance. This case is still under investigation. 
Officers responded to an assault near Lanton Rd. They spoke to a victim and issued a citation to another individual.
