Incidents
August 5
An injured dog on the loose was reported on Bray Drive. The animal was not able to be located. 
A caller reported a dog that had been barking in the area of Lance Lane for about three hours. 
Possible gunshots were reported in the area of Shady Lane. 
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on 4th Street. 
August 6 
A female subject reported that her grandson would not let her have a bookshelf that belonged to her. Contact was made with the grandson, and he returned the bookshelf. 
A non-injury accident was reported at the U.S. Highway 63 exit ramp near Love’s. 
A property owner on Springfield Road asked that vehicles be removed from their property during an ongoing auction. The cars were moved. 
August 7
A woman reported that someone took possessions from her home on 3rd Street while she was away.  
A noise complaint was made at apartments on State Route 76. The resident stated that they did not realize they were being too loud. 
An individual reported that they had received harassing text messages from a co-worker. 
August 8
A lost cell phone was turned in after being found at the city cemetery. 
August 9
A male and female were reported arguing near Pizza Americana. The verbal altercation was able to be resolved. 
A caller reported losing a wallet. 
August 10
Two ladders were reported stolen from a job site at the Senior Housing Development on east 6th Street. 
A well-being check was made for a female subject at Westwood Rural Health Clinic. 
A caller reported that she had seen a man chasing a woman while yelling and screaming. No one was located in the area on State Route DD.
