A woman called, saying that she wished to file charges against her 15-year-old son for stealing. The investigation was forwarded to the Howell County Juvenile Office.
May 8
A bicycle was reported stolen from the first base dugout at the girls’ softball field.
A possible domestic disturbance was reported at an apartment on East Main Street. A verbal altercation had occurred after a male subject was told he could not return to the residence. There was no physical altercation.
May 9
A woman called to see if the police department had any information about her son, whom she had not had contact with since September. The woman was referred to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 
The night manager at Love’s requested assistance in locating a truck driver who might be at the location. The driver’s employer was trying to locate the driver. Contact was made with the driver in question.
May 10
A caller reported smoke in the area of East Valley Street.
YMCA reported a suspicious subject who had been acting strangely, walking in and out of the business and along Main Street. The man was taken to Ozarks Healthcare for a mental evaluation after becoming irate and uncooperative with law enforcement.
A caller reported finding a wallet at the golf course. The owner of the wallet responded to claim it.
A bicycle that had been reported stolen was located and recovered on Jason Drive. 
May 11
The Green County Sheriff Jail Staff reported that they had a person in custody with an active Willow Springs warrant. While the jail staff asked if Willow Springs would extradite, the terms of extradition extend only to Howell County and the adjoining counties.
A caller reported that she had been scammed. The matter remains under investigation.
A vehicle was reported parked in front of a residence on South Harris. A 24-hour notice was placed on the vehicle.
A juvenile was injured in an auto accident at the intersection of North Center and West 6th. The juvenile was transported to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.
