March 9
Officer Katie Sandgren arrested an individual with outstanding warrants from inside Ace Hardware.
Officer Jacob Beadell spoke with an individual with information regarding a possible filing of a false report. He then spoke to the other party. The case will be closed.
Officer Robert Shell responded to West 1st St. for an individual trespassing. He contacted and later arrested a subject, placing them on a 12-hour protective custody hold.
March 10
Officer Sandgren spoke to an individual regarding filing a fraud report. This case will be referred to the West Plains Police Department Detective Division for further investigation.
Officer Sandgren responded to Greenway in reference to a deceased subject. This case is considered closed at this time with no suspicion of foul play.
Officer Sandgren took possession of property in a grocery bag left outside a business on Porter Waggoner Blvd. The property will be placed into evidence.
March 11
Officer Daiman Meyer responded to 5th Street for a disturbance. They had an individual transported to Ozarks Healthcare for a mental health evaluation.
Officer Conner Burnes took a report of a juvenile and adult assaulting an individual. The victim sustained no injuries. This case is still under investigation.
Officer Burnes investigated a report of child abuse. The victim reported a bruise on their cheek as a “hickey” from a romantic interest and not abuse. The case will be closed. 
Officer Shell arrested an individual from Imperial Drive with an outstanding warrant.
Cpl. Wesley Stuart spoke to an individual reporting an acquaintance pointed a handgun at them and chased their vehicle when they tried to flee the area. This case is still under investigation.
March 12
Officer Brandon Vernon responded to Lanton Drive and arrested an individual on outstanding warrants.
Officer Vernon responded to Jackson St. for a report of a court order violation. Charges will be filed for this incident. 
March 13
Officer Jospeh Tombley responded to the area of E. Main Street in reference to a report of a domestic assault. An investigation determined a suspect had fled the scene prior to law enforcement’s arrival. Officers attempted to locate the fleeing suspect. Currently, the case remains open pending the apprehension of the suspected individual.
Officer Tyler Franks responded to a residence in reference to a domestic disturbance in progress. His investigation discovered a couple who have children in common were in verbal and physical altercation. The male party left the scene prior to law enforcement arrival. This case and a probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
Officer Sandgren responded to the area of Hickory and Simpson in reference to a report of a possible overdose. After being transported to OZH by ambulance an affidavit will be filled out for a 96 hour mental evaluation.
Officers responded to West Plains Middle School regarding a report of alleged child abuse. Children’s Division interviewed the victim about the abuse. The case is open.
Officer Beadell responded to Missouri Ave for a report of a disturbance. Officers interviewed both parties involved and based on the discrepancy between statements and the lack of evidence; no charges will be filed.
Officer Caleb Kerley assisted children’s division with an investigation on 6th Street for possible child abuse or endangerment.
Officer Vernon conducted a traffic stop on Lanton Road and during the stop, learned the driver possessed a stolen firearm and an illegal substance suspected to be methamphetamine. They placed the subject under arrest and placed on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
Officer Kerley responded to Porter Wagoner regarding a possible fraudulent use of a debit card. The debit card will be entered into evidence for safekeeping.
March 14
Officer Chris Barrett responded to the intersection of US Highway 63 and State Route CC Highway for a report of a two-vehicle crash with roadway blockage. He spoke with the driver of vehicle 2 who stated a vehicle hit theirs and left the scene. He later identified the driver of the vehicle.
Officer Vernon conducted a traffic stop on Freedom Drive and arrested the driver for an outstanding warrant.
March 15
Officer Jesse Martin took a report of stolen property.
Officer Vernon took a report of stealing from St. Louis St. The incident will be under investigation.
Officer Beadell responded to Porter Wagoner for a report of stealing. He interviewed the victim and collected evidence.  He then spoke with the suspect. I interviewed him and issued him a summons. This case will be referred to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Officer Kerley responded to County Road 6070 for a requested wellbeing check. The individual claimed to be fine and not concerned with self-harm. Further investigation discovered the individual had outstanding warrants. 
Cpl. Micah McKemie responded to Lanton Road for a domestic altercation. He found a physical assault with no injuries took place. The parties separated and no charges will be filed due to an uncooperative victim.
Officer Beadell responded to Crestwood for a report of a domestic altercation. His investigation resulted in the arrest of one individual. This case will be referred to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Officer Kerley took a report of a runaway juvenile. He later located the child and returned them to parent custody. This report will be referred to the Juvenile Office per the parents' request.
