Incidents
September 19
An individual was arrested on an active Mountain View Police Department warrant during a well-being check on Porter Wagoner Boulevard.
Fuel was reported stolen from vehicles at the West Plains Regional Airport in Pomona. The case is under investigation.
An abandoned bicycle was located on Howell Avenue. The bicycle was taken to the West Plains Police Department.
An individual reported a stolen wallet a Ramey Supermarket.
A fight was reported on the 300 block of East 3rd Street. A female subject was arrested at the scene.
A domestic assault was reported on the 2400 block of McFarland. A female subject threw an object at her father, injuring him. The female was arrested at the scene.
A shoplifter was reported at Walmart. The male suspect was issued a ticket for stealing.
September 20
After a disturbance was reported at West Plains Motel, several unattended children were found in one of the rooms. A male subject was arrested for child endangerment.
A burglary was reported on the 1100 block of Garfield. The investigation continues.
Individuals were reportedly camping under the pavilion on the 1100 block of Broadway. A male subject was found to need medical assistance after he allegedly tried to kill himself with a handgun that was located near the scene. The handgun had been stolen from an individual in Alton. The male was taken to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.
A female subject reported that items had been stolen from her vehicle on Crawford Street. The investigation is ongoing.
A subject with active felony warrants fled from officers while being placed into the custody of the Howell County Jail. The subject was taken into custody a short time later and will face additional criminal charges.
A domestic disturbance was reported on the 800 block of Lanton Road. A female subject was arrested at the scene. 
An abandoned vehicle was towed from Cobblestone Street. 
A traffic accident was reported near Paula Drive and Deatherage. The vehicle was towed from the scene, and the driver was taken by ambulance. 
September 21
Property damage was reported at a residence on the 400 block of West Main Street. The property owner reported damage to an outbuilding. 
A domestic disturbance was reported on the 1000 block of 6th Street. A male suspect was arrested after allegedly choking a female victim. 
A juvenile was reportedly in possession of a controlled substance on the 600 block of Olden. The case was forwarded to the juvenile court. 
Counterfeit currency was reported at a business on North U.S. Highway 63. While the business did not want to press charges against the suspect, they did ask that the suspect be trespassed from the property. 
A shoplifter was reported at Walmart. Store employees stated that the suspect had already fled the scene. The suspect was identified, and charges are pending. 
A domestic disturbance was reported on the 400 block of Johnson. The involved parties were separated for the night. 
September 22
A female subject with an active warrant was arrested on the 400 block of Johnson Street. 
A male subject was transported from Probation and Parole on Imperial Drive after requesting a mental evaluation. The male subject attempted to assault officers, but no charges were filed against the subject. 
A business on the 1400 block of Southern Hills Drive reported that a male subject who had been previously trespassed from the business had returned. The man was reportedly refusing to leave the location. The subject left the scene after being issued a citation for trespassing. 
An employee at Ramey reported a hit and run accident. The employee found damage to their vehicle while they were working. 
A female subject reported that she was being extorted on a social media platform by a male suspect. The investigation continues.  
Hampton Inn reported an intoxicated male subject that was refusing to leave the property. The suspect was arrested at the scene.  
A representative of a local school district reported that an adult educator allegedly had inappropriate contact with a juvenile student at his home. The matter was reported to the Missouri Children’s Division and is currently under investigation. 
A female subject was issued a ticket for shoplifting at Walmart. 
A bicycle was found on Stewart Street. The bicycle was placed into evidence for safekeeping. 
A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence on the 800 block of Lanton Road. An investigation revealed that an investigation by the Children’s Division was also being conducted. A child custody arrangement was reached for the night, with further investigation being conducted for other criminal charges. 
September 23
A business on the 1200 block of Missouri Avenue reported that a male subject left the store after taking an item. The suspect was arrested at the scene.
A female subject reported her daughter missing. The woman’s daughter was entered into MULES and NCIC as missing.
A male juvenile was reported as possibly making threatening statements. An investigation was conducted, and no charges were filed. 
September 24
A domestic assault was reported at a residence on the 300 block of West 1st Street. Both individuals at the residence denied being involved in an altercation. One subject was arrested on active warrants. 
A female subject was arrested on active warrants on the 500 block of Porter Wagoner Boulevard. 
September 25
A theft was reported at the Snappy Mart on the 1300 block of U.S. Highway 63. 
Property damage was reported at a residence on the 900 block of Worcester. The resident stated his neighbor’s children damaged his vehicle while it was parked in the driveway. 
A domestic disturbance was reported on the 2000 block of State Route K. The involved parties were separated for the night.
