Chief Stetson Schwein took a report of an individual breaking a previously issued trespass order. 

March 28

Asst. Chief Trenton Roberts responded to N. Ash St. for a requested wellbeing check.

Asst. Chief Roberts responded to Apple Market to check on an elderly individual sitting in a vehicle. The individual did not need medical assistance.

Cpl. Kylie McGee assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle with a courtesy ride.

Cpl. McGee conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver for an outstanding warrant. She assisted the individual with posting bond.

Cpl. McGee accepted possession of a debit card left in an ATM.

Officer James Wardrip arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.

March 30

Asst. Chief Roberts arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant.

Cpl. McGee responded to a report of a domestic altercation. The victim did not wish to pursue charges.

March 31

Cpl. McGee arrested an individual on an outstanding warrant and assisted them with posting bond. 

Cpl. McGee removed debris from the roadway.

April 1

Officer Wardrip received a call reporting a woman pole dancing on a stop sign, pulling her pants down and exposing herself to passing cars. He spoke with the individual involved and advised her of possible consequences if the police received any more complaints of the behavior.

Officer Wardrip spoke with an individual regarding burning inside city limits. 

Officer Jacob Brixey assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Office as they investigated a possible domestic altercation.

April 2

Chief Schwien investigated a non-injury vehicle accident.

Chief Schwien received multiple complaints of an individual recording properties and home. He will attempt to contact and speak to the individual. 

 

For the week officers: followed up four previous investigations, spoke with two individuals requesting information, responded to one animal call, assisted two motorists, and issued twenty-three traffic warnings.
