Cpl. McGee responded to a complaint of loud music and peace disturbance.
March 22
Cpl. McGee followed up for Children’s Division on multiple cases.
Cpl. McGee responded to an out-of-control juvenile. The mother of the child calmed them down and the juvenile went with the mother.
Asst. Chief Trenton Roberts spoke with an individual regarding stolen campaign signs. He did not wish to pursue charges.
March 23
Asst. Chief Roberts and Officer Wardrip responded to a disturbance at a business. The investigation found the case involved the stolen campaign signs. Neither party wished to pursue charges, but the business requested a trespass order for the candidate.
Officer Wardrip observed an individual enter the culvert crossing under the highway. He advised the individual of safety issues and to use the crosswalk.
Asst. Chief Roberts investigated a non-injury vehicle accident.
Officer Matthew Combs investigated an audible commercial alarm. He found the building secure and contacted the keyholder.
March 24
Officer Wardrip received a call of a raccoon in a residential yard acting strange, and the caller would not leave their vehicle to enter the house. He assisted with trapping the raccoon and disposing of it.
Chief Stetson Schwein stayed with an individual having a medical emergency until EMS arrived.
March 25
Officer Wardrip received a call from a bank reporting an elderly individual possibly being scammed or threatened. He spoke to the individual and made sure they were safe and understood the scam situation.
Officer Wardrip took a report of a stolen bike.
For the week officers: followed up on one previous investigation, assisted one motorist, conducted three requested area checks, assisted with three animal calls, spoke to two individuals requesting information, and issued ten traffic warnings.
