An employee at City Hall reported seeing two children alone in a vehicle for an extended period of time and requested someone to check on the children. 
An employee at Malone’s Motel reported finding drugs while cleaning out a room. 
Shannon County requested assistance taking a report from a victim of a dog bite. The woman was attacked by her neighbor’s dog and was being sent to Springfield for injuries requiring surgery. 
An irate customer at Malone’s Motel had refused to leave the property. The woman left after being told by police that she had to leave. 
Homeless people were reported staying under a pavilion near a local church. The individuals left after being told that they could not stay there.
May 1
A resident reported that their landlord had yelled at them and was harassing them. 
A large toy was reported in the roadway on North Pine. The toy was removed from the road and returned to the owner.
May 2
A well-being check was requested by the VA in Poplar Bluff. The VA stated that the subject had been suicidal and had not reported to any of his check-ins. Contact was made with the man, who had been out to take his daughter to the doctor. 
A Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper requested assistance from a K-9 unit. 
May 3
Surveillance video was taken of a vehicle that had been tearing up the parking lot at the VFW Hall. The matter is under investigation. 
A well-being check was requested for a woman on West 3rd. Contact was made with the woman, who was fine. 
A gas drive off was reported at Anchor gas station. A male suspect was identified. 
A driver was arrested during a traffic stop on North Pine on an outstanding warrant from Houston. 
May 4
A woman reported receiving sexually explicit images via text message. 
May 5
A well-being check was requested for a male subject on Delp Road. It was discovered that the man had moved to an assisted living facility. 
A grandparent of a child requested officer assistance with the child’s parent. Authorities were not able to make contact with the parent.
