Incidents
July 23
Four West Plains residents reported the violation of a court order of protection. The four told the Howell County Sheriff’s Office that the violating party chased them in his vehicle and made obscene gestures toward them on U.S. Highway 63, between West Plains and Pomona. A report was taken. 
July 24
A 72-year-old West Plains man reported that his adult son assaulted him with a wooden stick. The man told the Howell County Sheriff’s Office that he was injured when his son struck him in the head. A report was generated. 
July 27
A pursuit took place when a West Plains man fled from an attempted traffic stop on County Road 8230 in West Plains. A short time after the pursuit began, the suspect’s vehicle stuck an embankment and a utility pole. The driver and two passengers were transported from the scene by ambulance for medical treatment. 
July 29
A Caulfield man reported that a title he received for the purchase of an antique car from a seller in Billings does not match the vehicle that he purchased. A report was generated and was forwarded to the Missouri Department of Revenue.
