Incidents
July 15
A male subject was taken into custody on an active warrant, and a female subject was taken into custody on drug-related charges, during a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 63, north of West Plains.
A death investigation was conducted at a home on County Road 2600. The family of the deceased will be making funeral arrangements.
A vehicle was reported stolen on County Road 1990.
A female subject was arrested for fourth degree domestic assault after a report of a disturbance on Private Road 3549 near West Plains.
A burglary was reported at a residence at Country Meadows Trailer Park. No charges have been filed.
July 16
A male subject was taken into custody on an outstanding traffic warrant during a traffic stop on Missouri Avenue in West Plains.
Property damage was reported at a business on U.S. Highway 63. The incident is under investigation.
Property damage was reported on County Road 2470 in Pomona. A report was taken.
A verbal domestic was reported on County Road 2030 in Mountain View. The involved parties were advised of the 12-hour rule.
A firearm was reported stolen on State Route W in Peace Valley. The investigation is ongoing.
A male subject was treated for injuries after he allegedly punched a window at a residence on County Road 6370.
A resident on State Route 14 reported being harassed. The person was advised of judicial remedies.
A grass fire was reported on County Road 6160. The property owner started the fire and prevented the Pottersville Fire Department from extinguishing it.
A domestic disturbance was reported on County Road 7840 in West Plains. A report was taken.
July 17
A vehicle theft was reported on County Road 8390. A report was taken, and another vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Thayer was recovered.
A horse was reportedly shot on County Road 6300 in West Plains. A report was taken, and the investigation continues.
A domestic assault was reported on County Road 8800. The victim refused to pursue charges.
A theft was reported on County Road 1280. The incident occurred sometime in the last month.
A missing person was reported on County Road 2010. The matter is under investigation.
A driver was arrested for driving while revoked on Luna Drive in West Plains.
July 18
A citation was issued to a driver for failure to maintain financial responsibility near U.S. Highway 63 in West Plains.
A domestic assault was reported on State Route KK near West Plains. Charges are pending against a suspect in the assault.
July 19
A currency theft was reported on U.S. Highway 160 in Caulfield. The incident is under investigation.
A resident on County Road 1330 reported an ongoing fraud investigation.
A golf cart was reported stolen from a shop on State Route Z in Willow Springs. The reporting party located the golf cart, and the suspect fled from the area on foot.
A resident on U.S. Highway 63 reported that checks were stolen from his mailbox and forged. The investigation continues.
July 21
A peace disturbance was reported on the 4900 block of U.S. Highway 160. No criminal charges were filed.
A domestic assault was reported that had occurred earlier in the day on Missouri Avenue in West Plains. Contact was made with the involved parties, and a report was taken.
July 22
A theft from a residence and shop on County Road 8980 in West Plains was reported. 
July 24
An assault was reported on the 5000 block of U.S. Highway 160.
July 25
A deceased male subject was reported on State Route U in Pomona. It was determined that the man died from natural causes.
