Deputy Kory Taylor responded to the Ozarks Healthcare Emergency Room to take a report of a previously occurring domestic assault.
Deputy Avery Stolba responded to an address on County Road 8270, West Plains, for a domestic altercation. He separated both parties for the night and advised them of the 12-hour rule.
Deputy Dylan Cook began an investigation regarding possible possession of child pornography. This investigation is ongoing and will be sent to CID.
Deputy Kyle Hambelton responded to State Route W for theft.
August 4
Corporal Jacob Hamby received a call for a wellbeing check located at County Road 7300 Caulfield.
Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at an address on US Highway 63, West Plains.
Deputy First Class Michael Lewis conducted a warrant arrest at an address on State Route AB, West Plains.
August 5
Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at an address on Joann Drive, West Plains.
Deputy Franklin Nesbitt responded to a residence on State Route Z for a fight. Charges will be submitted to the Prosecuting Attorney's office via a probable cause statement.
Deputy Michael Pauly received a call for VIN verification on County Road 9290, West Plains.
Deputy Cook responded to the Probation and Parole office for a warrant arrest.
Deputy Hambelton spoke to an individual in the lobby of the Howell County Sheriff's Office wanting to file a report of theft.
Deputy First Class Lewis responded to a trespassing call on Oak Street, Brandsville.
Sergeant Travis Weaver responded to the area of Private Road 1511 in Pomona for the report of a domestic disturbance. His investigation determined the dispute to be only verbal in nature. The parties separated, and he advised them of judicial remedies.
August 6
Deputy Nesbitt and Corporal Colter Reid responded to a residence on County Road 8970 for a domestic altercation reported by a third party. They found no crime occurred.
Deputy First Class Austin DeShazo responded to a residence located in Mountain View for an individual reporting a scam.
Deputy First Class Lewis responded to an address of Private Road 6801 for a report of harassment.
Deputy Pauly received a call regarding property damage on County Road 6300, West Plains.
Deputy Pauly received a call for a VIN verification on Private Road 8825, West Plains.
Deputy Holloway responded to a residence on County Road 8800 in West Plains for a domestic dispute. Both parties declined to pursue charges and refused to cooperate with the investigation.
Deputy Leekota Amore responded to a domestic disturbance in the West Plains area. He arrested the suspect and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
Deputy Pauly received a call for a possible death on County Road 1990, Willow Springs.
August 7
Deputy Tyler West responded to the area of County Road 9380 for a report of domestic disturbance. He placed one individual under arrest and transported to the Howell County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold. A juvenile referral will be completed and sent to the Howell County Juvenile Division.
Deputy Nesbitt and Corporal Colter Reid responded for an agency assist with EMS near Mountain View. They found an elderly individual deceased and observed no signs of foul play.
Deputy Nicholas Barslow took a report of a scam in the lobby of the Howell County Sheriff's Office in West Plains. Investigation will be conducted on this matter.
August 8
Deputy Holloway conducted a traffic stop on Washington Avenue in West Plains and arrested the driver for driving while intoxicated.
August 9
Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at an address on Missouri Ave, West Plains.
