Calls for Service
March 16
Deputy Nicholas Barslow responded to a wellbeing check in the area of State Route 14, in West Plains. Charges will be sent to the Prosecutor's Office.
March 17
While off duty, Corporal Timothy Gordon received a request to respond with his K9 partner, Flash, to the Mountain View area, to complete a free-air narcotics sniff for the Mountain View Police Department. 
Deputy Barslow responded to a report of a court order violation in the area of U.S. Highway 160, Caulfield. Charges will be sent to the prosecutor's office.
Deputy Barslow responded to a call of a juvenile offense in the area of County Road 9790, West Plains. Charges are unfounded at this time.
Members of the Howell County SWAT team assisted the South Central Drug Task Force with a narcotics search warrant in West Plains.
Deputy First Class Robert Malone responded to County Road 8200 for a call of a runaway juvenile.
Deputy Michael Pauly received a call of a death on County Road 2790, Mountain View.
Deputy Kory Taylor responded to a call for service in regard to a runaway juvenile in Pottersville. They located the juvenile and returned them to the home.
March 18
Deputy Michael Pauly overheard radio traffic reporting a body in the roadway near South Ash in Mountain View. He responded to the area to help MVPD as Deputy Coroner.
Deputy Tyler Ryan conducted a traffic stop on County Road 5090. An investigation including a search of the located suspected methamphetamine. After placing the driver in the patrol car, officers found a second bag of suspected methamphetamine on the ground. They arrested driver of the vehicle pending formal charges.
March 19
Deputy Austin DeShazo took a report of a missing person.
Deputy Brandon D. Barnes received a call for service in Willow Springs regarding a death investigation.
Deputy Tyler West took a report of identity theft. 
Deputy Collins spoke to an individual reporting a violation of an order of protection. A probable cause statement will be forwarded to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
Deputy Kyle Hambelton responded to County Road 1340 for a domestic altercation. No charges will be filed due to an uncooperative victim.
Deputy Vice responded to a domestic altercation in Pomona. He detained the suspect and transported them to the OZH ER for a 96-hour hold.
March 20
Deputy Holloway conducted a traffic stop and arrested an individual on an outstanding Cabool Municipal warrant.
Deputy West responded to a runaway juvenile in the Brandsville area.
Deputy Holloway responded to an individual riding a bicycle in the roadway on US Highway 160 in Caulfield. This contact resulted in a warrant arrest.
March 21
Deputy Holloway responded to a theft reported at a residence in Willow Springs. He located the property and returned it to the victim. The victim declined prosecution.
March 22
Deputy Holloway conducted a traffic stop on County Road 5800 in Willow Springs that resulted in an arrest.
Deputy Barslow responded to an animal call in the area of State Route V, Mountain View and freed a doe from the fence.
Deputy First Class Malone responded to County Road 4730 in West Plains for a report of property damage.
Deputy Ryan responded to State Route AP in West Plains for a domestic altercation. After an investigation he arrested an individual and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending charges.
