Deputy Austin Ryan spoke to an individual reporting a theft.
Deputy Michael Pauly received a call for a VIN verification on County Road 9790, West Plains.
March 3
Deputy Avery Stolba conducted a traffic stop on West US Highway 160, West Plains. He arrested the passenger of the vehicle four outstanding warrants through Howell County and Willow Springs.
March 4
Deputy Ryan responded to the area of State Route 17 for a report of stealing.
Deputy Stolba responded to an address on County Road 6330, West Plains, for a domestic disturbance.
March 5
Deputy First Class Hodo responded to the Howell County Probation and Parole office in reference to a subject having an active warrant.
Deputy First Class Hodo responded to an ongoing verbal domestic on Private Road 6350. A report will be forwarded to the Missouri child and abuse hotline.
March 6
Sergeant Seth Smith received a call for service of a reported kidnapping of a child by a family member. He located the vehicle and returned the child to the parents. He arrested the suspect and formal charges will be filed.
DFC Hodo assisted Children’s Division with an investigation. The case will be closed due unfounded information.
Deputy Kyle Holloway responded to a residence on County Road 4290 in West Plains for a burglary.
March 7
Deputy Kyle Hambelton spoke to an individual about a possible child kidnapping. The matter will be considered closed.
Deputy Holloway spoke with an individual reporting an assault that occurred on County Road 6980 in Pottersville. They located the suspect and placed them on a 24-hour hold pending formal charges submitted to the Howell County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
Deputy Holloway spoke with an individual reporting a kidnapping of his minor child that occurred in Willow Springs. An investigation determined no crime occurred and the situation involved a child custody dispute. 
March 8
Deputy Holloway observed an individual tampering with a motor vehicle in the parking lot of Dollar General on Missouri Ave. in West Plains. The West Plains Police Department exchanged information about this individual and the agencies worked together to place the individual under arrest and file charges. 
Deputy Ryan responded to the area of Private Road 1830 for a domestic altercation.
Deputy First Class Robert Malone responded to a residence with on County Road 6970 to assist children’s division with an investigation.
