February 23
Deputy Austin Ryan responded to the area of County Road 6130 referencing trespassing.
Deputy Nicholas Barslow responded to a call of theft in the area of U.S. Highway 63. This case is still under investigation.
Corporal Jacob Hamby received a call for service from the Probation and Parole Office stating a subject in their lobby that had active warrants.
Deputy Ryan spoke with a reporting party requesting assistance with people possibly squatting in a residence they own. He contacted an individual at the residence and found they had an active arrest warrant.
Corporal Hamby received a call for service in regard to a residence broken into in the area of State Route JJ West Plains.
Deputy Barslow responded to a call of a physical domestic in the area of County Road 4350 in Pomona. He arrested the suspect and booked them into the Howell County Adult Detention Center, to await formal charges.
Deputy Paden Turnbull received a call of a possible order of protection violation on County Road 4730, Pomona.
February 24
Deputy Ryan spoke to an individual reporting property damage.
Deputy Ryan spoke to an individual wishing to file a report for theft.
Deputy First Class Robert Malone responded to a residence on County Road 1390 in Pomona for a report of a physical domestic altercation.
February 25
Deputy Kyle Hambelton responded to County Road 1350 in Pomona for a report of tampering with a motor vehicle. The incident will be considered closed unless further evidence is discovered.
A deer struck Undersheriff Justin Riley’s vehicle on State Route K near Fairview School.
Deputy Barslow spoke with an individual about a court order violation. This report will be sent to the Prosecutor's Office pending formal charges.
Deputy Barslow took a report of animal abandonment. This case is under investigation.
Deputy Brandon Barnes responded to Pomona regarding an agency assist for a medical emergency involving a juvenile. He notified the Investigator's Office immediately and they are
involved with the ongoing investigation.
February 26
Deputy Holloway responded to a residence on County Road 7390 in Caulfield for an assault.
The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
February 28
Deputy First Class Colter Reid investigated a domestic altercation on County Road 1400, Peace Valley. He found no injuries reported and forwarded the case to the Howell County Prosecutor for review.
Deputy Hodo spoke with an individual regarding a sexual assault. The case is open and being forwarded to the Criminal Investigations Division.
March 1
Corporal Hamby responded to State Route 14 in West Plains in regard to a subject with a knife threatening to harm a parent. They transported the subject to Ozarks Health Care for a 96 hour hold mental evaluation. Charges will be sent to the Howell County Prosecutor for review.
Deputy Barslow responded to a report of animal neglect in the area of State Route W, Mountain View.
Deputy First Class Malone responded to a residence located on County Road 5320 in Willow Springs for a report of a domestic altercation. He investigated the disturbance and both parties wished not to pursue any further action.
