Top heavy spending leaves no money for kids' programs

After reading the poignant comment of a Mountain View City Alderman that was recently published in a local newspaper, I grew concerned about loss of funding for the community's youth.

 

Although I do not "yet" live in the city limits of Mountain View, still my immediate family has property there... for which I pay utilities and local taxes. Consequently, I deserve a voice.

 

Much like current trends in education, i.e., local school districts, I wonder if city government is "top heavy" with administrators on the payroll. 

 

Possibly, when it comes to having money available to fund projects for the youth, the solution is to simply fire some people at the top whose jobs have previously been done by other individuals in past administrations. 

 

Rather than endlessly increasing revenue on the backs of financially-strapped city residents... the obvious "fix" is to terminate redundant administrative jobs at the top to create funds for the kids at the bottom. 

When it comes to eliminating administrative waste by ending possible redundancy, nepotism, cronyism, etc... less quickly becomes more!
